So many of this show’s issues would have been solved by combing eps 4/5 and 6/7 together. And honestly they probably could have done it easily if it wasn’t for the adds taking up 1/3rd of each episode. The scenes that do actually have to do with being in another universe would stand out more and create more urgency if a lot of the unnecessary stuff was removed and the relationship wouldn’t feel so dragged out. I think episode 8 was really good I just wish it had happened a few weeks ago.
Episode 3 and 4 should have been combined, I don’t think the scout camp scenes added anything important.
I’m wondering if we will be in eiw’s perspective the whole time. We saw a scene where cake punched a guy for insinuating things about his relationship with eiw, but he also openly cuddles him to sleep in-front of his friends. On his side it feels very much like an older brother which makes it hard to imagine him seeing him any other way.
I know there’s a lot of hate for eiw’s personality but his fear of being around new people/places is relatable to me. Plus being a gay kid can be very isolating. He is very attached to cake but never tries to hold him back from being with his friends or anything like that.
As soon as love in Siam started playing I immediately knew what we were in for, earth played it very well.
I wanted to defend this show so bad because I was so excited for jimmy to have a main role but….this is just not good. 🙁 the commercials in this episode were horrendous I seriously can’t imagine that the sponsors were this demanding. Bad buddy had quite a few but at least they didn’t completely take you out of the story like these do.
After 7 episodes and a year in show of them building the romantic tension everyone expected it to happen at the end of this episode, wether it be a kiss or an out loud ‘I love/like you’ and it ended up being the same vague line from before (we’ll go back together). I hate when a show about lgbt people dances around the fact that it is indeed a romantic relationship by making it sound like they are ‘special close friends who care about each other’ 😐 it feels kind of cheap and almost offensive. What’s so wrong about actually showing it for what it is?
I watched on kiss kh, so I’m really curious what other audiences thought of this drama. What are the reviews like in Thailand? Or in the bl world in general, does everyone hate it like we do here?
I know a lot comments are asking why akk is taking the uniforms and the rules so seriously, We have seen hints of it already so idk if it’s a spoiler or not,
As others have commented the symbolism is pretty blatant, especially since the lgbtq kids are the ones who hate the uniforms. Akk is deep in the closet and clinging to the rules and being the perfect student is his way of hiding and trying seem ‘normal’. He’s trying to make up for the fact that he is different by doing everything adults asks of him and he views the openly gay kids protesting as a threat to his cover, he takes it personally. and when ayan comes and immediately starts messing with him it’s a huge blow to the image/barrier he has spent all these years creating for himself.
What if tun and Tess fall in love first and come back? Talay wouldn’t be able to find Puen 😕. With the scenes about the real tun having liked Tess and them not talking anymore it seems pretty obvious we will be seeing some of their story eventually.
Most people are saying GL has no audience but even with no kiss it seems like people are loving inkpa couple, I think they are a really safe choice to test out a full GL series. Even if they don’t get super popular it would be nice to just see gl side couples at least.
I see people are saying the flirting is weird but I love a bad guy/good guy pairing so I’m into it (and I LOVE first)
and I like that we got hints of what was going on right away instead of dragging it out for a few episodes before we knew about the uncle and the curse. I thought the vibe would be a bit darker based on the trailer but it’s only ep 1.
Interested to see what goes on with our group of lgbtq protesters too.
I have more questions about the universe-switch plot than ever.
If there is a double of gun/third does that mean there is someone who looks exactly like talay in this universe? Why wouldn’t he go into that body rather than a random one?
The book cashier says they’re the third person this month to ‘recognize’ them. That seems like ALOT for something so rare and supernatural, how big of a thing is body switching then, and why isn’t it common knowledge at that point?
And they introduced tun’s potential portkey but then don’t mention it again. ..I know the characters are supposed to have mixed feelings about each other but we’re at ep 5 now.

If nine was an investor, and he invested money to get them more clients, why are they so mad about it? And nine said from the first time he got there he had feelings for dao so why are they acting surprised that he was only working there so he could see him? Is it just drama for drama’s sake or what?
I like when a show doesn’t drag out the romance too long so I was happy it already started in ep 4 but then he basically said he was faking it? But then kissed him anyway? Then the preview for next episode seems like they’re still just friends? I don’t really understand where we are going with this.
We are only on so 3 so I’m still open to the plot getting more interesting, but I’m not a big fan of sea as the lead. I think drake or neo would have been really funny as talay
