Yeah especially since lei ming had such a complicated relationship with his father who sang xia looks upto. I dont think they need any romance, they work well as a teaching duo too much to mess it up if something happens between them.

You're veering off the point. You only hire them because they are from top unis. And the most prestigious and well known of them all are qingbei, ofc the kids want to enter qingbei lol. It takes luck and about the same effort to get marks for any top 10 schools so why not qingbei?

Its not qingbei or nothing, they are just aiming for the best school. They wont reject other schools if they couldnt make it. They just want to go the best one spurred on by lei ming. I have heard of qingbei's unis while i havent even heard of the ones you mentioned, they are not equally in demand at all.
