Wow, I hope she feels better soon! And thank you Kim Kyung Nam for asking for too much money? 😂 What a blessing…
Junho went from a relatively not popular idol/actor to one of the most popular right now (largely because of his viral fancams last year and this year). I remembered at one point early this year, he ranks 2nd in brand reputation just below bts' jimin and he never ranked below top 10 since then.
Episode 7 finally broke into double digit ratings!!! It gained almost 300k more viewers than the last episode. The Red Sleeve is probably the most popular non-variety, non-family drama of MBC in the last 3 or so years. Well deserved.
The audio at iQiyi is a bit out of sync, or is it just me? It's honestly unbearable to watch huhu what should I do?? I tried watching at an illegal site and the audio is fine there but the video quality sucks.
Gave it one more try after ep. 1 failed to impress me. Watched ep. 2 and most of ep. 3; build up to the tiger…
The tiger scenes did really have quite some deep cultural meaning. It is so widely praised by knetz and history professors (notoriously critical in this kind of shows) that it became the sole reason for some to watch the show in the first place. Don't force yourself into watching a show just because it is popular. If you tried watching it, and it doesn't click with you then maybe this shows is really not for you.
Bruhh knetz are literally thirsting over junho right now. His fancams trended again, and one video even gained 500k views in just hours after episode 6.
Wow! From 12th in episode 1 to 2nd now in episode 6 !! It's quite rare for MBC non-family drama these days to get ratings this high. No wonder Junho is trending like every hour in Naver lol. I hope it could get double digit ratings next week!
Episode 1 is bad imo, episode 2 is so-so (the first half is mehh, but the 2nd half saved it). I'll give this drama 1 more week to decide if ill drop or no.
This drama could have been a lot better if they just follow the source material. No wonder most Chinese fans who loved the novoland to have mixed/bad opinions about the drama. It turned from an epic novel to just another gǒu xuè that everyone would forget in the future.
Wonder who else read the novel ending here..Do you think the drama will follow it or there will be a different…
I'm at Chapter 8 right now at the novel, and so far up to episode 20 they are following the novel quite accurately. The only exception is that at the novel, Shifu does not really expresses his 'love' for HS that much and he only cares for Di Xu. Tilan is also a lot more cunning and unreasonable at the novel (i hate her so much at the novel). With how the drama is going on right now, and the Chinese people loving the original novel so much , there is a very high chance they will follow the ending.
*the novel is up to chapter 11 only + 1 ending chapter and 1 epilogue, Chapter 6 (this is where the drama is currently in) is divided to 5 long parts though
