yeah male characters being less in depth in a drama called freaking EVE was kind of expected.

Apparently, the production team recently said EP will really start changing starting in this 2nd half of the series this week.

I wanted to go back to the symbolism in the poster too— someone brought up a folktale about a tiger protecting the crane by eating the bully crane which only made the tiger want to eat the bird it just helped. I kept wondering why no one pointed out if the tiger represented EP, then doesn’t that mean he’ll eventually betray Rael after tasting corrupted power?? Or maybe it’ll be something twisted like in his mind, he’s doing smth for her sake, but Rael will hate him for it???

Whatever. If y’all want some 1% RaelxEunpyeong hope, think about how 6 episodes in, besides Rael, why the heck do they have only Eunpyeong also doing narration/inner monologue? It’s foreshadowing something…

Yeah you are right, the 2 scenes are different. And in the 1st ep version, I will add she also did not have that eye makeup line on the eyelid like in ep 5. They’re meant to be similar scenes I think.

EP’s inner monologue in ep 6 is making me worried and anxious for him… Dude is gonna try to take them down from the inside, but that’s like trying to infiltrate a mafia— when has that ever ended going well😭

Guys no, she did not get raped. Her trauma is from seeing that guy (Jung-cheol) torture and kill her father. He did rough her up a bit when she talked back at one point, but then EP interrupted that, and there was no rape.

The scene where she was actually tied up is a different day after her father already died where her father’s traitor subordinates raided her house when they thought she wasn’t home. They tied her up in order to force her fingerprint onto a document that would officially hand over her father’s company/shares. Smth like that anyway, but again, NO rape. It’s still enough to cause ptsd.

I’m not even CEO-biased, but kinda ridiculous how many ppl are ragging on his “expressionless” face? Like dude, a melodrama calls for some depressive looking faces, constant eyebrow furrowing or blank eyes bc he’s literally DEAD INSIDE. he’s probably depressed like there’s not much reason for him to be happy with a wife and controlling-ass father-in-law like that. He does have lighter expressions when interacting with his daughter tho. Also still plenty more eps to go to see his range of acting increase anyway, y’all too harsh??

But is there any reason why Rael would only now send that money package to EP with a letter written 10 years ago?? Is it simply bc she only just now got the fund amount she wanted to return to him or bc she wanted to remind him to watch out for LY group’s downfall soon? Anyway it did prompt him to find her, so she kinda risked her plan doing that which is why I almost doubt that maybe it wasn’t her intention to ship that to EP just yet. Which is creepy then bc it’s like maybe someone else spying on Rael and trying to ruin her plan…. by alerting EP……… lol this drama making me think too much and obsessed

My common sense wants to explain it as she maybe has a habit of covering her tattoo with makeup—but that’s a lot of work that’s hard to do on your own back too. Or wait? Maybe her fake mom helps her cover it? Idk. Otherwise, it still could just be an inconsistency mistake lol

IMO, both he and Park Byung Eun are ML. maybe PBE is more ML than LSY since the revenge is focused against him, if that makes sense. Plus I think it’s meant to be an unpredictable love triangle so we won’t know if the FL will end up with anyone or not.
