I feel this will be able to keep the hype because i feel netflix will not take just any drama inside his wings.Generally kdrama's airing on Netflix becomes a hit. And you see the action scenes and CGI use is of next level. I mean I haven't scene this in a korean historical drama. I have scene such type of scenes in chinese popular historical drama but still it is next level for me and since they have planned for season 2 also so i feel they must have thought how to maintain hype and the writer is great so i think this is promising

He was reporting to Soo Jae's professer who has thought her in college days and he is kind head of the college right now where she is teaching right now. I mean Soo Jae is suspicious about her professor. In episode 4 when Soo Jae's mom goes outside with Go Chan then in the next scene Soo Jae is seen having a conversation with her professor in his office and Sang Pill was reporting to that professor only because in ep 3 he goes to meet the professor who was doing fishing near a lake.

And the professor was also trying to get information out from Soo Jae but as she was suspicious she doesn't reveal anything and he only suggested to Soo Jae in the past that she should wrap up Go Chan's case and I m sure somehow these big shots or someone near to them are involved in Go Chan's sister's death. Otherwise, why will all the lawyers try to hide it except for soo jae? So right now we are not sure whether the professor is a black or a white character

OMG last scene was totally unexpected. This drama is totally keeping the suspense and you cannot expect what will happen in the next episode. First bomb blast occurred I was like OK I knew something bad will happen and the second bomb blast was totally unexpected my heart literally skipped with the sound and I was using earphones 😂😂

I was like is she stupid? Why is she going to see that man at night? What if she gets killed? Go chan cannot reach every time on time right?

And I just hope Go chan soon reveals his identity to her before someone else does that. Otherwise she will feel betrayed and maybe she will understand also later but still...

And I had a sarcastic smile on my face when chairman told the chauffeur that he should stop digging more into Gohan's identity. I was like thank God you don't know who he is for real and this thing may prove a loss for you somehow 😉 later. I m shocked the writers have good imagination because you see the concept of hotel de luna was so good. I mean there are other ghost dramas also but hotel de luna's concept was unique in its own

Everyone has suspicion about this because jang kang(father) ignores jang wook and jang kang did not give him rites to learn his magic or practice magic (this was said in one of dialogues) so their is a rumour among people that jang kang doesn't give him rites because he is not his son and people close to jang kang i mean his relatives and jang wook's elders knows that soul was shifted 20 years ago they even mention also that last soul shifting occurred 20 years ago (referring to king's soul shifting) when they were discussing about Naksu's soul shifting

why comparing with hotel de luna? hotel de luna has its own Charm and this drama's concept is entirely different from hotel de luna in fact i feel alchemy of souls is entirely different from any other historical dramas also. Seems like you have only seen one fantasy kdrama which is hotel de luna or may be i m wrong
