So my theory is that even if Yul wins mudeok. Yul and mudeok will stay in songrim for now and by the time Yul will be going home that is in episode 20 i feel until that time may be Naksu's or Jin byeon's identity will come out and she will no longer be a maid.
We all know mudeok loves Janguk and she will end up with him if the show will have happy ending otherwise she will die, we know Yul will not get the girl but still if yul win's the battle in next episode story will become more interesting

Instead Mudeok ask him for the jade which means may be Janguk looses that is why she ashamed that because of her he lost the jade also and in background when she says "i really like you master" I guess she is telling this to yul because she is using the accent in which she talks publicly. Maybe Yul would have asked her whether she is happy or not as she will live with yul ? then she would have replied of course she is happy as she likes him.

First I thought the same but again after re-watching the preview . I interpreted it like she is ashamed because due to her Janguk lost the battle and also lost the Jade along with her. Think about this that if Janguk would have won the battle then he would have asked the jade from crown prince infront of everyone as he has already won Mudeok and crown prince cannot deny giving him the jade at that time as he can't break the promise but mudeok goes to him for taking Jade not Janguk
And in last scene when Janguk kisses, In the background mudeok is saying "I like you master" but that confession is in the accent with which she talks publically, If she would have confessed to Janguk then obviously she would have done it in private and she would have not talked with him in that accent. But here I think she confesses this to YUL. Maybe Yul would have asked her if she is happy or not as she will have to live with him from now on and as Mudeok also likes him. Then she would have replied " I really like you master" 😁😁
