That's exactly what makes them good. Many Korean directors and writers drag 16-episode dramas and insert repeated tropes. With 12 episode, they don't need to drag things.

Dropped it after 12 episodes. This drama was executed poorly. The chemistry between leads evaporated after the first 3-4 episodes. Also, they shouldn't have made the second leads sympathetic after cheating. The only thing they did well was showing how the weather forecasting works.
