Don't forget the drama that paved the way to the penthouse in the 1st place 'Sky castle' it wasn't as extreme but def the best imo.

2eps in and it's really great. Loved the leads and the mystery is adding spice to the story which makes it more interesting.

I hate the "love triangle" trope. There are at least 3 beautiful girls who could potentially be 2nd fl but they had to make 2nd ml like the FL.

Lastly, what am worried abt is the pacing, how will they keep me/us invested to the Story tell the end, since it's already spread out. Hope it doesn't get boring tell the end tho

It feels so bland compared to the webtoon, I mean they could've easily compressed both bomi and hamin stories together in a better way(slightly like the webtoon at least) by just making the episodes 1hrs long, don't like that the episodes are too short, still gonna watch it but if u wanna feel more connected to the characters I advise u to read the webtoon 1st than watch the drama.

Did they seriously change the cast? Waited for this to drop for 3yrs for them to change the cast like that!! Come on. Lost all of my interest for the drama!! Don't feel like watching it honestly.

I strongly disagree with ur statement. I enjoy watching historical Chinese dramas, but the fantasy ones I can't enjoy them at all, their CGI is not favorable for me and most of them just give me a bad taste and than i end up dropping them, I have never yet finished a fantasy/wuxia cdrama. But when comes to western as u mentioned LOTR or Harry Potter, they're wayyyy, the CGI is not cringe for me! At the end it's all subjective! (Will still give this one a chance but down the line I will end up dropping it lol 😂)

Same, not only JCW dramas, most kdramas been boring for a long time now, last drama I watched without fast forwarding was my Mister in 2018.

Just finished watching the 5th ep, and Joo ah confession was amazing, it didn't feel forced at all and the kiss just adds to the feels, the scene was well done. Now I really wander how will they break up(I have seen the comment abt they break up cuz of the dating app) but there relationship is so sweet honestly, I like the ML, but I hope the writers make a convincing separation.

Not every drama need a ML. Sometimes it's good to watch something u r unfamiliar with,
