Xiao Chun saves the world 2 hours ago, from Weibo video account"The Legend of Qin 2," with its massive…
Are they already filming? I thought the author just finished scripting the donghua, which hasn't aired yet & is set to air first. I'd be quite surprised if the script for both the donghua and drama was the exact same.

I'm cringing and laughing at the same time. Self-aware and hams up the tropes on purpose, but not sure how much more I can sit through lol. If it were better executed it would push the contrast between the comedic and serious scenes more, but it's currently in that awkward in-between spot that pushes it towards cringe rather than just funny. Might have to come back to it in-between watching other things so I can micro-dose the cringe lol.

I know, I wrote this comment before he appeared.

I'm legit pissed off that they turned the most interesting & pivotal historical moment of the series into a 5 min narration. Should have spent at least 10 episodes on that. The first 30 could've been easily condensed.

How is she horrible
The whole point of the wedding is for the sake of her sect's reputation, because she's the sect leader's daughter and the Emperor himself arranged the marriage. It's a political marriage. She was going to commit suicide if YDZ didn't come, because that meant no one would save her in the future. Since she heard him yell, that meant he had tried to saver her but failed, so instead of committing suicide she decides to live so he can still save her in the future. Actively opposing the marriage would mean retribution on her sect because it's treason against the Emperor. She also can't fight her way out, because there were multiple martial arts masters in there that would've stopped her. The only way she can maintain her sect's safety is to go through with the marriage while she waits for YDZ to come back. What do you think she should've done instead? I don't think YDZ would've been happy if she committed suicide instead of waiting.

I hope she confronts the Prince about it and that asshole Prince Langya still hinted to her to keep that baby.…
Xiao Ruofeng definitely deserved to get beat up more. Sad that they're both such duty-bound people that they'll rationalize away any justified emotional reaction.

She should have beat up the culprit.
Agreed! Unfortunately she's too level-headed for us to ever see that.

Glad they finally let Yi Wenjun show her martial arts. imo her reaction to finding out she got date raped & has to carry her rapist's kid was mild, she deserved to beat a few more ppl up

Does anyone know if Zhou Mu Nan has written any other novels except this series? And if they were adapted into…
Someone made a website for him that lists his work: https://zhoumunan.carrd.co/

It's probably due to the director's inexperience but the pacing feels quite off. Even when there's important battles there's no sense of urgency. It's more noticeable now that the most important plot points/conflicts are occurring, yet characters still stand around chatting in a way that feels like there's no stakes on the line.

Also just a personal gripe, but the impression you get from tBoY characters was that this era was a lot darker, but Zhou Munan seems unable to break from an extremely lighthearted narrative. I was expecting an arc that started out light and then unraveled into something darker as more misfortune/loss occurred and turns BLDJ from a naive young kid into the depressed & suicidal hobo we see in tBoY, but the author seems unwilling(/unable) to pull that off. Again, not sure if it's just the director getting in the way of the script, but the unwavering lighthearted tone feels unfitting for the heavier themes such as treason, fratricide, betrayal, etc. that tBoY handled quite well in comparison.

"You're over 180 years old, and you're thinking of appreciating beautiful ladies? You're too old to do that."…
The original line in Chinese is "aren't you afraid your waist will break?" lol they censored BLDJ's savageness

maybe he is also playing his father role in this??
No he plays Xiao Yi, the founding emperor of Beili. Xiao Se's father is played by the actor who played the 2nd prince/White Prince in tBoY.

It seems to me that it's more the curent dynasty that is that old? I think, the first ruler was rebel to previous…
I also thought it might be the founder of the dynasty but I just went back to check and the phrasing is 背离开国皇帝, where 开国 can mean either nation or dynasty founder, but will follow the name of the dynasty or nation/state e.g. Ming dynasty founder=明朝开国皇帝 vs. West Han (state) founder=西汉开国皇帝. So I guess he founded the nation/state of Beili, not just a new dynasty. But yeah, definitely founded on conquering other nations. I think DY is trying to make Tianwaitian/Nanjue/nations outside of Beili more sympathetic though.

LOL Ji Ruofeng's technique being called 棍打天下 "Stick that beats up 'the world'(/everything)". I can see who Xiao Se got his wit/sense of humor from.

FYI subs didn't really explain the joke correctly here--Xiao Ruofeng's technique is called 天下第三 "The world's third best" so JRF's move is named specifically to say he can beat XRF's technique/"the world"/天下.

Also am wondering if Beili's history is officially only 180 yrs?

kisskh new domain www.kisskh.idyou should follow their social medias they will notify you when they add new domain
It should be ok for 720-1080p streaming. Instead of streaming you could try downloading the video, which might take a while (up to a few hours) but at least you'll be able to watch it. If you're using wifi try using an ethernet cable to directly connect your computer to your wifi router. Otherwise, try using public wifi like at a library, cafe, or school.

This is definitely the sequel to S1; the plot is based off the sequel webnovel of the same name 少年歌行之南明离火
I'm optimistically assuming it's all pre-production stuff like making the costumes/props, building the sets, etc. that they have to get done before they bring the actors in. On douban it says S2 will release 2026, which makes sense since Yin Tao has to finish directing An He Zhuan (2025 release) first before S2.
