About the comment of Yoon Joon's mother:
No they didn't date, he just introduced her to his parents as his girlfriend, so they would stop trying to set dates to meet women to end up marrying.

And then he repeated it with Woon Joon's sister and when her mother discovered it, she told him she didn't believe it because of that.

By ep.10 they haven't dated or even kissed, I don't inow if that's slow for you. But they already know they like each other.

This series doesn't give me the vibes of an open ending or not ending together kind of drama, as 25-21 or The Interest of love.

So I'll bet they will end up together after the mentioned time lapse, that I'm not sure it's going to happen. I think the ongoing events are on 2022.

In dramacool there was a gap in the subbing, so I'm not 100% sure.
Yoon Joon told Woo Joo that she couldn't love the son of the woman she hates, and to get a hold of herself.
Then Woo Joo told him that she never said she was in love, and asked why he went so far.
Yoon Joon asked her if she really doesn't know why (he was behaving like that).

And then her expression of selfawarness realizing what it is.

My interpretation is that she meant she was a little more worried about DJ than about her family and YJ.

That he's a passive person and doesn't act according to his thoughts and feelings while she's exactly the opposite, so she realized there're people like him, that keep everything inside and just goes on, and although his circunstances make him suffer he's afraid of the alternative: abadonment or the unkown, as it's said, " it's better the devil you know that the one you don't".

I agree with the 2nd part of your comments but about the first part, although it's true that he's afraid of being abandoned, as he stated, and that her girlfriend leaving him reinforced that fear; I think that he has got clear issues expressing himself and letting other know his true opinion.

I think the opposite, that DJ was really upset because of the infidelity, that her girlfriend abandoned him to marry another man.

Because I think that his past (growing up watching his mother's behaviour) made him very sensitive about not having an steady and trustful partner.

But that she cheated on him is it 100% sure?, I think she lied about it just to break up.

I'd say it's because of his brother living with DJ.

For what Inget she already knows and that's why she asked him not to stop it.

She said the break up wasn't only her fault, that after meeting his mother and telling him so, he became distant (I guess because he didn't want the person he loved know about that dark side of his life) and then she felt he wasn't so into her.

Maybe she takes anxiolytics or antidepressants after all.what happened to her family.

They showed love to each other, and she said it out loud that both felt something but she asked him not tondo anything about it.

They already have admited their love, but she asked him to do her a favour and not to takenany step further because of their common past.

Looks, gestures, acts between WJ and DJ, and also commentaries from others,all these show us that the main leaders are starting to feel something for each other, but nothing explicit.
