The car failing was done by QM’s father. lord Inpyeong. PM didn’t hate the crown, he hated IAN for taking…
Thanks for the car part, I missed that. As for the PM, I know he didn't hate the crown, but it felt hard to believe that he would go this far just because Huiju ended up with another man.

Title Perfect Crown Spoiler
Overall it was a really good show, and a nice watch. I am kind of disappointed with how a few of the mystery plotlines were handles, like Huiju's car failing, or why the PM hated the crown so much.

But it was still fun to watch for the romance.

There is a scene where the grand prince hears conversation between king and queen, isn't the king is dead, can…
Yeah, it's the same scene that we saw in an earlier episode, but from the grand prince's perspective. It's basically just a flashback explaining how he knows that the king wanted to make him next in line for the throne.

I'm really hoping for that. I think having a darker element would really make this show interesting. It's still really good, but it's very slow and chill right now, the stakes are pretty low.

That's true. If it turns out to be a red herring, I'm scared of who the actual villain might end up being. If they really wanted to do a plot twist, it could be her secretary, but I have no clue. I can't tell how dark they're trying to go with the king and the mechanic.

The boss move is walking away from all 3 guys standing in front of her.
I agree. She mentioned heaps of times that she likes how Sungmin spoke to her respectfully, while with Igeon it was an issue, and then the whole Haeun thing happened as well. I think people took his comments about wanting to talk to Goeun way too seriously, when he was probably joking. Igeon and Mingee also made possessive comments about the people they were interested in, but no one is mad at them. I think people just found Igeon attractive and so they wanted her to choose him. But he always gave me red flag vibes.

I knew it, min gee said it to seungil as a love interest casually and seungil is the evil one to bring it to the…
I don't think it's fair to blame Mingee, since she told him to stop. I feel like it might've been a set up by production to pull the whole "will Heesun choose Subeen" thing in the final episode. Which was stupid in my opinion. So much of these last two episodes felt manipulated by production.

I honestly think that part was manipulated by production because there's no way they all kept picking on Go Eun.
That's true, it got so boring to watch them just asking her again and again though. I do understand to an extent why she kept her feelings to herself. I think since her main two choices were Sungmin and Igeon, she should've at least clarified with hyeon woo that she didn't have feelings for him. And I feel like this season was significantly influenced by production, whether in editing or just being scripted. I think they really built up the whole love triangle thing, just like they do most seasons.

On Single’s Inferno Season 5 Feb 10, 2026
Overall, this season was really good. Way better than the last two seasons.

I do think that episodes 11 and 12 were badly edited though. They spent way too much time just drilling Go Eun and the three guys, where we could've had a final paradise date or something. Or even the clear up between Heesun and Subeen. They tried to keep us in the dark, but it was obvious that they would include something with how much time was left in the episode. I also wish we could've seen more of Mingee and Seung Il.

With Go Eun's choice, I honestly expected it. I didn't really like Igeon from the beginning, for whatever reason. But then red flags started popping up, of how he didn't really address her in the way she liked, and mentioning finding Haeun cute on his date. He seems like the type of guy who stops trying after getting in a relationship. I think we should've seen more of what Goeun and Sungmin's conversations looked like, because that would probably help us better understand why she chose him.

I really hope that Jooyoung and Jaejin, and Mingee and Seung Il last as couples. I really liked that we had a more diverse cast this time, and they weren't all just models or actors. This was a very interesting season throughout, and hopefully next season is even better.

i would rather have straightforward friend like mingee than someone who talk behind my back
Agreed. Even if Mina Sue didn't like hearing it, someone needed to hold her accountable. I don't understand why people are hating Mingee for doing that.

Would they rather Mina Sue keep treating people disrespectfully? Sometimes in life you have to hear harsh things to grow, and that's all it was.

wait, wdym he might be a cheater? Lowkey not a huge fan that he works with AI, tbh. But did he cheat on someone?
Ah okay. It doesn't matter at the end of the day, since they're all just strangers to us.

And same, at first I was thinking that wow, he's so smart, then he mentioned working on the AI for Google and I got so disappointed. I hate those pop ups so much, I keep trying to disable them.

I was thinking why Seungil didn’t clarify his feelings to Minasue first that he chooses Mingee. Maybe he’s…
Yeah. I've had this problem with him for a few episodes where he seems like he feels so secure with Mingee that he stopped trying and focused his entire attention on Mina Sue. I think he still should've been affectionate and sought out opportunities to talk with Mingee while exploring his feelings for Mina Sue rather than putting her on a back burner.

I don't think that's the case it's more about how she goes about liking multiple people at the same time we all…
Agreed. I think it's how she goes about exploring her options is what was the problem. She was constantly jumping ships after telling people that she was committing to someone else, which was disrespectful to the feeling of others. And also just how she treated Mingee sometimes, and even Seung Il on their trip.

On Single’s Inferno Season 5 Feb 3, 2026
Man, these episodes really twisted things up. The ship I'm most confident with is Jaejin and Joo Young. They're really sweet together, and seem to have a lot of chemistry.Despite Mingee liking Subeen, I feel like it might've been the alcohol more than anything. I think she's too good for Seung Il, but her chemistry with Subeen seemed more like close friends than couple. I think Subeen still had the best chemistry with Heesun, so I'm rooting for them. But honestly, everything about episode 9 and 10 was so unexpected. I'm glad Mingee and Seung Il called Mina Sue out, she really needed that.I can't believe it'll be over next week. The teaser scares me.

That's understandable, but the thing is (with Mina Sue at least), she's being so disrespectful to the people around her. Like, Goeun is also exploring her options, but she's not doing so in a way that's rude to the other guys.

But Mina Sue, she bad mouths the other girls, she kept ignoring Subeen during the campfire scene, she completely ditched him when another guy wanted to talk to her despite her approaching Subeen, she discouraged Subeen from talking to other girls while herself talking to two or three other guys. I'm usually not the type to dislike contestants this much, because at the end of the day we don't actually know them, but she genuinely feels really ignorant and selfish.
