For the future viewers and those who are hating the fl and wanted them reconcile just from the few ep in beginning

this drama is not a lovely dovey romance based drama they've focused more on the life of firefighters no doubt there is going to be a lot of romance later but they won't be getting together atleast before 20th ep and they are gradually going to come much closer before that
their is a BIG reason why song yan is restraining himself from going back together with her and it's not just bcz of social status that the mother hates songyan it's a suspence acc to the novel

the Fl is a messed up person she wants him but she also doesn't have courage yet to stand up against her family who have provided an orphan child a decent life and education it's more like she feels suppressed bcz of that favour when she was a child her mother told her that if she compalain and doesn't obey them they'll abandon her drop her where she came from
she just know that the her mother separated them but she still don't know her mother's dirty deeds once she'll come to know she'll completely cut ties with them

he is soon going to join song yan's team maybe as a new instructor probably going to become a friend of both no he is not going to come between them in the novel he was not too much interested in xuqin either

he is her therapy

the scenes I mentioned above were all their school life scenes there were many more after they reconcile there are chance they won't keep the school romance scenes much but I wish they do keep it

yes there were so many scenes like the kiss under the sky,the video game scene,playing in the snow,and the bathroom scene which sadly can't be shown on tv🙃
