You said it all! Given the attention Khemjira received, it's natural that people watch it even if they don't like the style of the series. So they will always question the positive reviews, the success it achieved, and the audience numbers it reached; it's normal. I just don't agree with the criticism of the actors, but there's always some, unfortunately you can't please everyone.

I don't know what these people are used to seeing. Khemjira's premise was very different from what most BL series offer. I think they didn't watch it to try and understand, but expected to see more "chemistry" and physical intimacy between the main couples. What people understand by chemistry, I think, is different for me. But that's how it is. It's impossible to please everyone. But I did find it absurd that the actor needed to come out publicly to explain the obvious.

People only fail to understand if they watch something to meet their own expectations. I was outraged, for example, that NP had to clarify the obvious in the interview, like Khem's reaction to his first kiss. When I saw just that part of the interview, I thought, "What? I can't believe he has to explain the obvious!" You just have to pay attention to the details of the story, man. Then he has to explain why the character is a certain way, explain about the first kiss, explain about the NC scenes... seriously, I think it's unnecessary.
Namping won me over. I can't get over Khem. I wanted to hug him all the time.
True! But listen to what I'm saying, if Keng listens to those "lunatics," as you call them, I'll buy a plane ticket to Thailand just to beat him up. And you're right, nothing satisfies that kind of fan.

I don't know how things work at companies like DMD and GMMTV, for example, but it's good to know that DMD actors have that freedom of choice. As Solyn mentioned about Ohm and Leng, for example, they are from GMMTV, but I believe the separation happened because the audience didn't accept them, right? Regarding NP, I see more positive comments than negative ones, but for those who criticize, I honestly don't understand the criticism, as it's unfounded.

I understand. I myself commented that this masterpiece is not for everyone, only for those who know how to appreciate what is truly good. If a person doesn't pay attention to all the details of the scenes, dialogues, expressions... they won't be able to understand its depth.

I'm laughing so hard 🤣 It's good that you don't mind it being long, because as long as there's something to talk about, this conversation will never end 🤣

The way NP brought the character to life was incredible. Besides portraying Khem as he is, NP added an extra dimension to the character. Even receiving criticism about the character or his own acting, if there hadn't been some changes or this extra element that NP brought to the character, the feedback the series received wouldn't have been the same, because almost everything revolves around Khem and his curse.

"I wish no hatred could reach him"
I wonder how someone like Namping can suffer so much hate. Criticism about his acting, about the ship that Keng should find someone else, even about the fan meet-and-greet in Japan, where apparently he let go of Keng's hand and many criticized him, as if Keng was holding his hand and he let go. Then I saw a comment from a fan who was there saying that when they held hands, the hand Keng was holding was the hand Namping was holding the microphone in, and he let go of Keng's hand for a brief moment because he just wanted to thank the fans and only had a few seconds, and some people misinterpreted it. Like, tell me, how? Then I read some comments where it seems Keng said in an interview that he's afraid these haters will ruin their ship because he doesn't want to separate from Namping, something like that. Oh, it's sad. People are so cruel. In an interview, Namping responded that fans shouldn't worry because they were fine and it wouldn't affect their relationship, but that doesn't mean they don't feel the impact of all this negativity... People have the right not to like him, but they don't have the right to do this kind of thing. Oh, and I don't research these things, they just appear to me on social media, I think because I follow NP. Here on MDL, I sometimes even comment and reply to those who interact with me, but honestly, I stopped reading the comments because it's discouraging.
