He shouldn't have proposed to her in the first place without even knowing how she felt about him, he shouldn't have proposed to her if he knew he'd choose revenge over her, but yeah I agree with you on this, things didn't go as planned so he had to take action, without telling her so she won't be punished. That's why he did it before their wedding so she wouldn't get punished as his wife? Thing is she would willingly want to go down with him and ling buyi knows, he loves her too much to get her involved.
If you look at things from both their perspectives you'd find their actions understable. LLTG is still my favorite historical cdrama.❤️

Who considered things for her while she was growing up? The only dumb thing I can recall her doing is following that one girl from the palace who also likes ling buyi to some random place in the latter episodes(I haven't rewatched in a long time so i don't remember things😂) and having buyi save her, other than that I believe she's a great person FL who's also considerate to people she cares about.
