Yeap... I guess many of us had the same thoughts some weeks ago.

So here's where I stand on this one: she liked the SML but at the same time was getting constant help/attention from the ML. Well.. if I'd be in a situation where I'd confess my feelings to someone and he'd constantly push me away saying we're definitely not a match or whatever, adding to that the cold tone and heartless way of saying it all, that'd be a turn off for me as well. And I wouldn't be surprised if my attention would be heading towards another man that somehow is always there when needed and he's handsome further more :p So this is one thing.

2nd yes that thing about not ending that toxic relationship seemed pointless to me as well and they should've sorted that out long time ago.

3rd. I agree about Rowoon sounding weird at times. I also didn't know how to take those scenes. At some point I was like maybe this is cause he's supposed to be a cold character and confessing his feelings is not something he is used to do. If I remember it correctly, the more they went away from the whole love potion situation, the better his lines sounded to me, they involved more emotions than before. Some of his supposedly "cute/romantic" actions seemed a bit cringe to me tbh. I was really hoping for something a bit more deep and heartfelt during the couple scenes, hereby I blamed the writer/director in the very first line of my review.

I'm currently watching "Healer", and some years ago I watched "Lovestruck in the city". It's a light drama that I can't recall much of but he's the cutest there. He's a natural in my opinion. Ofc his acting skills get better with time. but he's always been a good actor.

I mean.... we're all on the edge week after week. :p what matters is that you watch it anyways. It's a very good drama.

We can sure spoil it for you when the ep comes out. Based on the preview, looks like that is the case. Let's not forget he is undercover, but let's also see what situation was he stuck in that he had to make such decision. I'm really hoping this drama turns out well for the main couple but I doubt that for the moment.

Oh we're alike in this other aspect too; I'm also very interested in Korean culture even though the importance they give to just the most insignificant "scandal" is crazy and scary. I can't say that I've watched the same amount of dramas you've watched but what you're saying is quite visible to me as well. It doesn't matter to me that most dramas don't bring anything new but they can at least have some sense of authenticity.

Oh the cheating part? Well... it's just another repetitive situation in the drama. Shin Yu doesn't quite go back to dating her... Clearly he was never interested in her . But although his feelings for Hong Jo are clear to him, he still doesn't dump the 2FL for some time. I don't think it was properly explained why but I think it was because their families both arranged that marriage and Shin Yu didn't want to make things difficult for his family. People start gossiping about Shin Yu cheating on Na Yeon with Hong Jo so ofc she backs off. She doesn't like that kind of reputation. And although Na Yeon finds out about the "cheating" she clings onto Shin Yu in a very stupid and bothersome way I would say. She's obsessed with just marrying him per his name/status/money whatever it is. Cause on the other hand, Miss Na Yeon had been cheating Shin Yu with that [Haum Construction CEO] for quite some time now. And our handsome and very intelligent :p Shin Yu finally finds out about that and gets rid of her by blowing the whole cheating situation in her face. Now she can't ask him to go back together. Perfect! lol

Oh glad you like it :D And I completely agree with you btw. I thought the same while the first episodes were airing but it gets better. Her character gets better and I'm glad it does cause it suits her very well.. I don't want to spoil any more details to you but please find your inner strength to overcome the repetitive love potion stuff and enjoy the rest of the episodes. I believe it should pick up nicely in the following episodes so hang in there my friend :p :D

OMFG! With all that shit happening in the previews of ep 8&9 I think I'm going to rewatch those episodes right after finishing them to not miss a single thing.

omg I never watch the previews. I feel like they spoil it for me and start giving me ideas which most of the time have turned out to be correct so I want to really enjoy it when the episode comes out.

I truly couldn't recognize him with his hair down in Destined with you. I was like: wait... is this the handsome dude that Hong Jo likes? :p

Hi Ally.. just in case this adds to your idea of the drama: the curse ended because when Shin Yu got stabbed, his heart stopped for a bit and he was brought back to life again when he was in the ER. It was a bit sudden even for me but I guess that was the only resolution they could give to it as death was the only thing to end the curse.

So my question is: why did Junmo let that investigator die? i get that he go discovered and that's bad but they're the police afterall. they could have him treated and probably prisoned till this is over. idk. i just wasn't expecting Junmo to let him there. I'm afraid he'll become "the worst of evil" after this operation as some viewers were supposing.
