OMG, evil stepmom needs to relax her bitch face for a minute. It's exhausting to look at her. She's like Cinderella stepmom X1000.

Ep 1 and I already hate seeing that mom actress again. She always plays a horrible, overbearing mom with nothing nice to say to her kids.

I think the romance in this drama is nicely paced and satisfying, enough to make up for the flaws that others complain about.

Ignoring the whole face swap element, the most unbelievable part is how FL became a martial arts master in just a few months. Because it's not like all other cdramas show characters training in martial arts since childhood...

I watched the trailer for this and I still have no idea what this drama is about. And I think the lead actors look too modern for a historical.

It's better to be an actor than a kpop idol. They're allowed to date and not ruin their careers!

No, this is not a straight historical, it has some fantasy elements. I'd start with Love Like the Galaxy or A Dream of Splendor, just historical drama that doesn't require much suspension of disbelief.

I just watched the preview for ep14 and I'm surprised at the fast pace of revelation for a cdrama.

I am so sad about him retiring. Now I'll never get to see a dream collab between him and Dilraba, always thought they'd make a beautiful pair.

I agree, felt like they phoned in the last 2 eps. They were so boring I kept pausing to go do other things.

I really want to watch this for handsome CXX, but I can tell it's another mediocre Victoria Song modern drama. I think she needs to stop doing romance and try something else.

It's a pretty forgettable remake of OSN, which I already found forgettable. BUT I think the Chinese version did a better job with the characterization of the parents. In OSN, the rich dad is an asshole just because he's rich, but at least in this drama the rich dad is an asshole because he obviously looks down on the working class family and already has a rich bride lined up for his son. And I prefer a gambling addict dad over a dad who tolerates his daughter being abused by her husband to save face.

I am pretty much just watching this because ML is so handsome and his styling is on point. There are usually always some weird suits or outfits in Chinese office dramas, but so far everyone is dressed nicely.

I just happened to watch One Spring Night a few weeks ago on Netflix because I ran out of dramas to watch. It was ok, but I didn't like the whole stigma around being a single parent. I could tell from just the trailer that this drama is a remake, even with a same exact scene, but does it still have a single parent storyline, and if it does, is it presented as some hurdle?

I found this drama much more enjoyable than its prequel Ancient Love Poetry which put me to sleep a lot, maybe it's because I love Zhao Lusi. I just wish there were more scenes of the couples actually being a couple.
