Tbh I hear you but let’s not forget he was taught as a child that love was a sin and that he was a sin. Love is evil and ends all creation. So it’s going to take him some time to grow the much needed balls to overcome this change. Yandan can’t understand him just like he can’t understand her. But later on both will understand each other as she mentions it later on in the second season. His mortal side is the playful free loving person he could actually be. So that’s why he’s more bolder and brazer than as Yingyuan.
I hope they hurried up and release part 2. I’m tired playing the “What if” game. Like honestly and I’m tired of feeding off the spoilers from the second half of the season. 😭😫 My Ma was right I’m such an impatient bunny. 😪😂

In the novel he does get with her. But I hear the drama is supposed to be different. And with Cheng Yi being such a big name household. His character won’t get sidelined when it comes to the main love story. In these cases his character can only die and the main lead Yang Zi be alone or she dies or both dies. It just feels at times Yumo character gets more shined when he’s the most boring character beside that Disney lamp. 😭
Okay Daddy can have me and so can the son. Cheng Yi shows me again why I love him. Granted and I am shy to say this I have never seen L&R 😭😩 But I have seen his other dramas and knows he’s amazing. I can’t wait to get a chance to see him next year. Now onto the latest episodes… Yumo Yumo Yumo 😑 I get you love Yandan. But please stop doing too much. It’s becoming an obsession at this time and unhealthy one. He wants to compete so bad with TZ and I get he lost round one to him thousands years ago 😂. Even though he yet doesn’t know. Still I feel like he should get over it. Yandan. Please don’t hate YY and TZ both love and will die for you at any given second. I know there’s misunderstandings and this is where Ashes of love comes in. Jimni killed XuFeng without really knowing what went down. So when Yandan does what she does later on. I think her sister will explained it to her as I saw her watch her killed Yingyuan. Then she goes to take half of her heart out again for him.
Now I’m wondering how many episodes we will get. I’m hearing 80 in total but I know so many have said 19 has been confirmed. Since we have gotten S2 trailer already I feel like S2 will aired 8/17/22 and end 9/6/22. If so then they really need to step their game up. Because so far the show lacks a lot in area. I also don’t like the constant save TZ by Yumo. They show sometimes forget that in this adaption Yumo isn’t the main lead but second lead. I’m just hoping we get a happy ending be it in the mortal realm, Heavenly realm or spirit realm.
What I hate about how YOUKU got the rights to this amazing drama is their timing. They are too gosh slow for me. If this had premiered on the other channels like LLTG. I feel like the drama rating would be higher. Then they only give VIP members 2 episodes which sucks. You pay just to only be happy for three days and on the forth day you get 1 episode only. I hope we don’t have to wait till Christmas or next year for season 2.
