‘That Year, 162 Rainfalls’ is an upcoming BL project from Good Things Marketing Integration Co., Ltd., an integrated entertainment marketing company. Works include the Netflix series ‘Mon Don’t Do That!’, ‘The Magician on the Skywalk’, the film ‘Someday or One Day’, and the exhibition for the film Minxiong Haunted House. The film is based on Sun Wei Ting’s novel of the same name, translated into Thai and published in Thailand. The adaptation will be under the direction of Lien Chien Hung; well-known BL author Lin Pei Yu is hired as the screenwriter and produced by Sarso Chou, Walter Lin, and Gavin Lin.

Love is diverse. It can transcend gender and lets people choose who they love. The film utilizes a simple story to discuss life’s most essential yet complex parts. How does one learn to comprehend the essence of love truly? To understand oneself fully and express the loved one’s feelings out loud. To have the wisdom to bid it farewell when it’s time to say goodbye. The drama is a youthful, charming, compelling love story between two teenage boys. It’s not only same-sex-themed, nor just a sports movie, but a film that speaks to the complex inner workings of people’s hearts.

Li Xu Hai is Sei Wu High School’s archery team captain. He is stunned when he sees the opposing team captain confess his love to his close buddy Chen Zhen Yu, only to find out that Zhen Yu actually likes him! Even though they win the match, Xu Hai accidentally crashes into a guardrail while trying to evade a dog and falls into a coma.
After waking up, Xu Hai can’t help but think about Zhen Yu and the precious and lovely moments they have shared together. There was a drizzle when they first met. It is said their city rains 162 days every year…
Persecuted by family members, they can only go their separate ways with tears in their eyes… When will they be able to see the rainbow and find their clear sky?
