It is, the novel felt like it hush hush through Khun Yai stuff to get to Commander Yai (whom did appear in ep 1 and kissed Jom / CPR after the car accident)

and as we all know, the pilot trailer ended with Jom disappearing in Khun Yai's embrace....

Nonkul isn’t sure if there may be IFYLITA SS2. He says because the current storyline of IFYLITA is solely focused on the Rattanakosin Era (Khun Yai) and doesn’t feature the Ayutthaya Era (Commander Yai)

The history of Thailand (or what is defined to be the kingdom of Siam) is divided into 3 eras: Sukhothai, Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin. Rattanakosin era starts with the Chakri dynasty (Rama 1) and extends into current day (Rama 10).

In the novel, Jom goes back to 1920s Chiangmai which is within the Rattanakosin Era. But, he also goes further back in time to the Ayutthaya era. ***Not to the Ayutthaya kingdom***

So the option of SS2 is available because there’s this part to work on.
