I started writing Pit Babe two years ago with a clueless mind about how problematic the plot was. That’s when I realized this wasn’t what I wanted to convey in my work, and I even suggested to the producers that they revise the plot in the first season.
Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out the way I suggested. So when I agreed to write season 2, I tried my best to make it right because I can’t write something I don’t believe in. Believe it or not, two years is long enough for people to learn and grow, and I hope you do too.
Importantly, the non-Omegaverse version is my own novel based on how I envision the season. IT’S NOT THE ACTUAL SCRIPT. We don’t know how it’s going to turn out, but I hope they stick to the novel because the Omegaverse is problematic and not the essence of the series anyway.
The first season uses the word Alpha to refer to people with special powers. It never means Alpha in the ABO sense. However, the producers didn’t make this clear in the series, which caused confusion..

The Po-Earn backstory is so much worse in the novel bruh I'm pissed
Po was in a pretty good job after he graduated. Earned way more than his friends that time. But after 8 months Earn made him leave the job by emotional manipulation saying that the app that he is developing is both his and Po's.
as we saw in the series, Po used to do all the odd jobs for Earn so that he has max time to develop his app. Bought sandwiches for him for 3 years. It seems what he ate was a tuna sandwich
once that app was developed, that asshole partied with Po saying their life would be better now and Po thought the company's future is also their future
when the app was launched and the investors wanted to invest in it and earn became practically a millionaire overnight, he said the success of the app belongs to him ALONE and Po was crushed
they fought later on at home and you know what that asshole said? He said people invest in good people not good teams. Basically saying Po was sort of a free employee
EVEN THEN Po was fine with being Earn's shadow but that asshole says he wants to breakup because he is successful while his "boyfriend" works in a suit shop part time and that he is nothing in front of earn and he is like when two people can't grow to the same level they shouldn't be together
He doesn't say shit like thank you for what you did or whatever it was that he said in the series
So basically the reason he had no experience to show for 3 years because Earn refused to give him any credit for the work he did on the app
