Yeah, a lot of people say that about this author! Rattan was such an unexpected hit. I love how she always makes her female leads powerful, stylish, and absolutely gorgeous her characters really stand out.

She spent her whole life fighting for even the smallest piece of herself, only for the story to strip it all away. And then death the one place she should have found peace becomes another cage because they tether her to him forever. Unforgivable. He was selfish when he was alive, and somehow the ending makes him even more selfish when he’s dead.

You can hype Chen Feiyu without dragging Reba, seriously. Calling her “just a pretty face” is such a tired, sexist take she’s been proving herself for years while getting picked apart for everything she does. The woman works nonstop, carries projects, and still gets hate for existing pretty. Maybe try using your brain next time before spewing that nonsense.

The casting just doesn’t match the characters at all, and it’s crazy because this novel is huge in China. Honestly, the production team deserves the backlash, not the actors. I’m genuinely worried for Meng Ziyi look at what happened to raba she brought in million in buzz for this drama and still got dragged for months. Why do they always have to ruin beloved novel that fans have been begging not to adapt?
