My first ever Taiwanese drama, i remember it was airing when i was 7 or 8 years old in country, i still remember it. It was fantastic drama, had amazing acting. I hope they make remake of this.

I'm not even surprised about Xiu Xiu miscarriage. She was everywhere all over the place, she drank, she starved.... Thry are painting het as a hero, but she failed her child. You know you are pregnant, act like it. Having child is a obligation, he is having nutrition from food and drink you consume. Second, everyone is starving, she lost her child to starvation alongside other factors, and fl saids to her father in law "this wather and food doesn't mean anything to us" (?) WHERE IS THE LOGIC? DIDN'T YOU LOSE YOUR CHILD BC OF THIS? Can she accept that she isn't smartest person there? I can't say this but her Father in law is the smartest person there. In all village he is the smartest.
And this propaganda about communism isn't eating, i understand they want to make richer give some grains to those who are poor, but they seem tonot understand that the choice isn't theirs to make. The only reason I'm not dropping this is to see how much more this will get ridiculous in these last episodes.
Xiu Xiu was so ignorant this episode. She told to Toutou run away with Yinzi. If that was possible they would run away long ago. Poverty stops them. Yinzi would never let her brothers and sisters to starve. Yes her father is incompetent and mother is sick, but she loves them. They are good people but poor. The saddest thing is she had to sacrifice herself for them, there is no other solution. Kejin talked honestly to be honest, her fate could be lot more crueler than this. She could be even concubine to that old man which is worse than his legal wife. And what fate could await her with Toutou, his motheh hates her, he is poor also, he couldn't support her family, he has now with him that girl who is pregnant ( idk if it is his child) but she is there as a burden.
I bing watched 17 episodes in 10 hours. I may fast forwarded some scenes but this drama is perfect. First i must say, i love acting of female lead and male lead. I can't believe how good they portrayed their characters. Especially male lead. Second i love their fathers. They are both amazing actors. They brought comedy the most in this drama. Lastly i like how drama shows realistically how was farmers life back in the past. They show how working in the sun is not easy job especially when you're poor and have to do all hard work just with your bare hands. And how even when you work hard it doesn't mean harvest will be good. I like how everything is not just some fairytale but a real slice of life drama. This is definitely one of best dramas in this year. I hope more people watches it.

To be honest even seughan wasn't the big issues but there are many crazy persons there and they take some stupid things very seriously. When sm announced seughan's return everyone was happy even members but some crazy ot6 k fans went crazy over that. I dont want repeat of that situation bc his reputation is mixed in korea.
Mnet is literally sabotaging the show. First they give blatant favoritism to ex trainee a members, masato, liyu and yumeki in k group. And to anxin in c group. Second, they are airing lacking trainees and giving them screen time, while already skilled and talented they aren't broadcasting ex. Haneum, Hyeop, Yoon min, Seowon etc.. in group c Yichen, Lynnlynn and many more. Third, tolerating problematic people in show, ( its already confirmed about shiwan and geonwoo). About leo i don't know what to say he has fanbase bc of trainee a but many koreans and international fans are dragging him daily. If this continues i don't see happy end for the show and for debuted group. Especially if they rigg someone in and that people discover.
I hate his mom so much!!! This is child abuse! And i hate they will make him forgive her in the end. I wish he would cut her off. She made his life hell for 17 years ( idk his real age, sorry if im mistaken). I hate this.
I just watched pilot episode. It looks so much ridiculous that it had potential to be the best comedy romance in 2025. Please if anyone has novel or manhwa which is based on share something. I will be eternally grateful.
