This one is huge disappointment. I knew that it would be because of Poppy (between who with common sense would name main character Poppy) who should portrayed our Bao Luo Yin but failed to. I loved both original version and Stay with me, both versions portrayed novel with excellence. Everything was great, both casting and chemistry between main leads. If only there weren't censorship so we could get second season. But here i see more gentle Gu Hai and I'm okay with it because August portrayed it well, he can act but what he can do when his partner is lacking. Chemistry is non existent. I'm okay with Mac, he is great actor for his age, but not for novel adaptation popular as this with all time active fanbase. I want to ask casting director how he with this level of acting and facial expressions he is making in the series got role such as Bao Luo Yin?? This is a flop. Don't waste your time here. Better watch original and Stay with me or read the novel.
I love this so much. I love acting, i love story, i love soundtrack and i love production. Everything is so close to perfection, i will definitely rewatch. I hope more quality bl dramas like this come out. If you pick this up you will not regret it.
I can't believe they took this down, i just watched first episode and it is really good. At least they (iqiyi) should make this available for people outside of china.
He is amazing actor, i loved him in cloy, kokdu, school 2017, mr queen and now I'm watching him in welcome to the waikiki. It's sad what happened in his personal life, i hope his mental health gets better and he gets more works in future
Usually I'm not fan of remakes but this one ate!!!! Tay Tawan and New did amazing job portraying Achi and Karan. Their chemistry is amazing, acting superb and story intriguing. I can't wait for their feelings to develop more. The only regret is that we only get one episode per week. But if i endured only friends im ready also for this one. I hope more people will give this a chance because it really deserves it.
At this point i don't even want Sand and Ray together. I want Sand to be happy with someone else or single even. Also i want for Ray to realize his true feelings for Sand and to grovel and suffer, actually i really want karma to happen and for Ray to endure everything that Sand is enduring right now bc i don't even blame Mew now bc Ray is one of the most stupid characters i saw in my life.
He's amazing, very versatile actor. I love his works, he knows how to chose a script and to play it well. I loved him in "from now on showtime" and now in "the killing vote". I look forward to watch more work of his.
I'm watching him in "Kiseki dear to me" and his performance is great. I only wish that he has more screen time because his acting is so captivating and he has really interesting storyline but we are so deprived. I hope in the next episodes his screentime will increase.

Yeah i think that messed him up but i think we missed something like yeah maybe Sand didn't sleep with Ray for money, but maybe he done this kind of thing before with other people and that is why Ray keep saying.
I don't understand why Ray called Sand a whore? Of all insults why that and even 2 times. In all clips we watched i think there's only one time when Ray gives money to Sand for taxi and that is after their first one night stand. So why did he called him a whore and why didn't Sand said anything back?
So this episode was amazing on SandRay part, i loved everything. I hate that Boston was the one who told Sand about Ray being in love with Mew but I'm actually thankful. Yes he ruined his birthday and everything but Sand was falling too hard when we still see Ray has unresolved feelings with Mew and he isn't claiming Sand or anything, like for example when Boston and Nick and even that girl Summer asked him who is Sand to him he just said "friend". So i don't know when Ray will fall harder in this trope, we just passed ep 5 and in ep 6 things dont look that great for SandRay, but at least i hope we get good amount of angst. And guys my boy Nick is done for, he started going to gym and copying Top's style. I hope he will find again his own style. Mew and Top relationship i don't know i can't like it so i keep skipping their scenes, i hope they at least deliver when they break up bc right now even toxic relationship between Boston and Nick is way more interesting.
