I would say it’s a part of the drama storyline but just like the commenter on top of me stated great grandma orn has learn her lesson already way too many time to be meddling in saruj ´s love anymore.

Her mom is a dhevaprom indeed but she is a distant cousin whom father marries a countryside women and live there (if i rmb correctly) so therefore her mom grew up there as a countryside girl. And in the ml’s father’s story, they ask the fl’s mom to come to the palace to become the future financée of ml’s father but they kinda treated her as a maid instead since they think she’s « filthy ». Long story short she marries her original lover who is a driver so the fl become « the daughter of a maid ». Fyi back in those day hierarchy is very important so a maid and a royal family member’s statuses are significantly different and a love story between them would seems somewhat odd. (It is set in the 1990s).

For real never have I ever think those two dramas will be in a sentence together lmao. But nfl I like both too
