Episodes 7 and 8 had me in tears. Crying along with this grandpa past my bedtime serves absolutely no purpose, but there I was, sobbing my eyes out anyway.
Song Kang acting through his eyes needs appreciation. The uncertainty of whether to voice the illness of the grandpa to his family, the struggle of knowing, and the burden of recognition the young grandson carries in silence and with support. The nudge of encouraging grandpa to continue dreaming even if tomorrow is not a guarantee—especially with that being the reason! Ah, my tender heart went to the ground. From Song Kang saying that grandpa can't do ballet when the old man extended his limits, to grandpa saying that he can do it, that he knows he's struggling, and that he will keep going to succeed and achieve his dream, to Song Kang saying to grandpa that he can do it.
The eldest son having to give up his dreams for others, and when grandpa said to him that he'd be his pitcher for the catcher (the son was) and that he'd have his back and catch the balls—however hard he may strike, that he'd be with him as long as he'd be on the ground—is so tender. That scene in episode 9 (or 10). Grandpa finally on stage. Song Kang's support throughout. Though grandpa's memory loss doesn't seem natural to my eye, the actor had his way of touching hearts in every frame. He knows he had me emotionally, and god, how happily I cried. When grandpa announces to his family that he'd be going to a nursing home, and the daughter cries that she'd happily take care of him in place of her absent son. Please! I can't. No more! And the whole family watching grandpa's documentary, having big, happy, teary smiles. With joy and pride. My heart.
"Do you know what I desperately longed for after finding out about your illness? Time. I wished you'd remember me for a bit longer. I wished you'd stay by my side for a while longer. I thought I was the only one who felt that way. But while editing the video, I could see that you felt the same. The time you had spent doing ballet was extremely precious to you."
"I'm going to return to the hospital. What patients need the most is time, and doctors can prolong it. I'm going to put my heart into it."
And the airport scene where grandpa cried, saying that he shouldn't forget Song Kang's face!!!! Please, I was literally trembling! And when they reunite, aghhhhhhh! I'd have liked it very much if they had shown the ballet scenes properly, with the actors doing the moves properly, and not just screening up to their chests and turning the camera away for a 'flying in the air' moment kind of scene. But maybe I'm asking too much from a real, aged actor and people. I know it's not easy, and ballet is a skill.
Alas, it's a slice-of-life story, and damn, it moved me to learn that nothing is impossible—that one should continue to achieve their dream no matter what comes. Dreams are important, and acting on them is too. Everyone may not have a Song Kang in their life to guide and support them, but everyone is the grandpa with dreams, even though life has blown us to whatever places we're leading to. Having dreams is a start to something.
It’s been a while since a K-thriller hooked me like Mousetrap did! The plot follows a man whose quiet life is thrown into chaos when an impostor steals his name and face, threatening his very existence. Just when I thought I had the twists figured out, the writing proved why I’m just a viewer and not the scriptwriter—it’s that brilliant! As for the characters, oh my god, Noja is the GOAT. He is absolute gold—the kind of golden character that completely immerses you in this dark, "red and black" drama world. And yes, the twists frustrated me, but it was that inviting kind of frustration that kept me glued to every single episode. This story deserves so much more credit—the kind we rarely see given to non-English TV shows. 9.5/10
After such a long time, Pond's acting made me see his character deeply, and when he did, he had to make me cry like this? Not fair, man! I loved each episode and character. We need more supernatural series with strong screenwriting like this, and also characters like Ozone that represent each of us.

Yes, he's not guilty of anything. In fact, the blame lies with obsessive OhmnNanon ship fans who can't see past the actors' real lives to mind their own business. I haven't watched Leng's previous work because the stories aren't to my liking, but I don't see why anyone would hate something to the extent of actively harassing people. Fans like that ruin real lives. That being said, I am rooting for this series and hope it surprises me, unlike other time-travel series (or reincarnation, since we don't clearly know yet.)

Is it only me who is trying my best not to gawk at GemFourth's expressions? They have come such a long way since My School President and My Love Mix-Up! Their facial acting has improved so significantly in this new project that I cannot even find the right words to describe it. They have evolved immensely from the duo we knew at the start!🤧
Just watch it. This series might not be the kind of LGBTQ+ work you want to jump into, but it is a story worth staying for. This is cinema. This is the story! Just watch it!
Is it just me, or does Usa Takuma look a bit like Park Ji-hoon from Weak Hero Class 1 and the Thai BL actor Mix Sahaphap Wongratch? His eyes and expressions in certain shots look remarkably similar!
And here I am, a year later, rewatching it for the second time. I think this is my guilty-pleasure drama, guilty for loving it more every time I watch, rather than for its low rating. Yes, it is a bit corny and giddy, but it is also one of the few BLs where both actors delivered their best expressions despite cliché scenes. I will come back to this again; I just want to.

First, I have to give it up for Maewnam! She is extraordinary. On one side, she is helping her crush out while grading and teaching, and on the other, she is dealing with the mental stress of her thesis (which is no joke 😭). I loved the series; it was a comfy watch!
