Yup, especially that the main conflict is: - confession that happened a year ago ( we don't know how is ended) - potential girlfriend - Moon contest They didn't set up stage for anything else ...
I have already seen several works of Director New and his main strength lay in simple straightforward storytelling that can convey pretty complex ideas/emotions and plot. But he is not good at making flashy things... While SIMM has a very simple, straightforward story that should be more flashy to stand out... Director and story are just not a good fit in my opinion, Passion and chemistry might save it but from the ending we saw .... feel like another My Gear And Your Gown...
For me masterpiece is something that carry a deeper message. So something more popular or viewer-friendly isn't…
Thank you :) Like you said, it won't change our support. I really wish to see Nanon and Ohm in another series that would make better use of their acting abilities - which not so safe/standard script.
Glad you like it:) If you want some further recommendation let me know
Loved Not Me but i wouldn't say it's good entry to BL genre if someone don't enjoy darker themes. Semantic Error Theory of Love Bad Buddy Are more in line with Cutie Pie that bought her to Bl world in the first place.
Sorry, but where were you the whole 80, 90 and 2000? Did you watch any TV show from that period? Like for decades,…
I didn't drive deeper into this point because I thought everyone is aware of how LGBT was portrayed - since its still the most common stereotype in mainstream media that LGBT needs to fight... But I still easily agree with 90% of what you wrote. But I think you overestimate SCOY... like this show is not that deep... like it's under Channel 3 that have pretty bad rep. in Thai LGBT community for the some reason you just stated... This show is also based on novel - written by "Young", "female" and "still studying" author (Couldn't find more information about her) so her "feminine" gay characters all having secret crushes on "manly" hot young sporty guys... might just be what it seems to be - female teenager yaoi fantasy than an actual representation

It's all Japanese and Japanese humor is specific, making it not for everyone. While I tried to mention some variety but couldn't think of good comedy worth recommendation from Korea or Thai....
Same i feel like beginning of 22 was heyday of BL, we got pretty awesome titles. But is there any major BL premier…
Who knows? We had confirmation from Not me director that her budget was cut mid-filming. While Enchante and Star look very budget-friendly... while F4 used a big budget at the beginning but later according to the review also started having budget problems... so i think they patched it up by using money for other productions. Leaving me with the suspicion that we might not see anything decent budget-wise from GMMTV for a while..
You are also right I forgot about Potential Suitor ... still it doesn't sound as something that can fill 8 episodes...
