I just understand why sangeng make a plan mr xue kill majistrate wei. Revenge for his master but he forget mr xue also a murderer. Magistrate Wei high ranking not easy for him to bring to justice. If he knew early mr song ranking more powerful than magistrate Wei, maybe he not act his own. The revenge is not easy for sangeng, mr xue and magistrate wei.

The ending is ok. 20 year waiting to end the revenge. Pity to Sangeng lost his father, captain leng and mr song. I almost cry the scene sangeng cry. He really regret with his plan that cause mr song and his colleague die. For me that storyline is good. Sangeng smart but not all plan success. I wish he knew his father killed by his master. Liu Zhi is cruel in ep 12 after i feel pity a few episodes. The actor doing a great job. I love this drama. No heavy make up and look realistic for that era. I like color grading also. Overall i give 9/10. I'm gonna rewatch again. Maybe i miss some detail. Sorry for my english.
