the first episode failed to capture my attention for some reason and I dropped it for a long time but I picked it up again cuz I was missing KBL and I am glad I did cuz this is so freaking cute. Loved the chemistry although the angst needed more work and episodes and DAMNNN that was the longest NC scene I have ever seen in a KBL like wow, they were just going on and on and on and it was pretty hot too. Like many KBLs, this too needed more runtime and episodes to make the angst more touching and the struggles they faced more into light cuz most of the time it was just our imagination and also time for the second couple to actually grow cuz they looked cute too. Overall, a cute KBL.

It almost seem like you could fit another person between their lips during their kiss cuz why are they afraid to be close to each other lol. But anyways plot wise, I am glad they are not dragging it for another episode. This was pretty sweet episode seeing Mashiro being dependant on Kanade and when he was tugging on his shirt reminded me of the,'He asked for no pickles!!!' meme lmao. I lost it when I saw Mashiro's face when kanade ask if he could stay over lmao bro couldn't believe his ears. Anyways we finally gonna see them as a couple who live together. This is what I always want from most bls that end on a confession. Relationship doesn't end at saying I love you to each other. The ugly parts are also there and you need to face it.

The biggest crime that this series has committed is making the last episode 30 mins AND no kiss scene. Gosh ending on a hug was really my biggest fear. Even Xiao and CY, got a kiss shot even tho it was a shitty one with the camera far away. Welp we can't get everything in life at least we got a glimpse of CC and WSW as dads so that was sweet and of course CC is jealous of his own "kid".

Man that country really got them huh, not a final kiss goodbye. But i am not disappointed at all. I loved this series so much and it's a shame we will never see that true version of it but we can't have all the nice things in the world. The last episode was good imo it didn't feel rushed and it wrapped everything up but I was expecting something more emotional and more tears. But alas what can you do. This maybe the best Chinese BL and it is probably my last.

Also tbh the only 'a dollar and a dream' moments I see from this series is when the main leads are wearing the same clothes again and again and also the weird green screen scenes inside the car. Other than that it feels like a really well budgeted series to me.

After this series,I'll def not watch another CBL ever again for obvious reasons.

WSW is so unintentionally funny,he really called CC's father 'father in law' with a serious face too lmao. The fact that they couldn't decipher the code and came into the worse conclusion is taking me out lmao. CC's father is treating him really well, I wonder for what. I seriously thought he would do a 90s clique trope and slap money in his face to leave CC. Loving their son in law and father in law duo. His father should be proud, because of WSW, CC is not a bum anymore who does snake cage fights and is the town's cycle but is actually a contributing member to society now. WSW is better than any daughter in law he could find.

Yall will put me on a cross for saying this but CC and Xiao kinda have more chemistry than Guo Cheng and Xiao in my eyes 👀cuz something about their chemistry when CC was manhandling Xiao is kinda...

Now episode 20 is really a silly episode. I dont understand the various schemes of WSW and this is one of them. I don't understand what does he get from trying to make Xiao and Guo Cheng fuck. It is not like GC has really helped him that much and its not like Xiao needs his help and its not like he was threatened to help too unlike Xiao case. Trying to manipulate their relationship seems stupid to me. I dont understand this writing.

Man episode 19 was such a wreaking ball of emotions. I loved it so much. The way Chi cheng was babying WSW and forgetting all his fury when he saw him cry is so sweet to me. Really shows his character growth. But tbh why did WSW's mother say that she wanted a daughter in law?? I thought she already knew about WSW and CC, doesn't make sense at all. I thought she will say some more encouraging worlds. In episode 19, WSW really peaked babygirlsm. He is such a baby, I understand why CC is so obsessed with him. You just want to protect his smile.

Mashiro finally putting his foot down against his sorry ass for an excuse mother. Bitches will throw the word mother around but won't bother act like it.

I didn't realised that there were only 10 episodes and thought 'why does this feel like an end' cuz it is lmao. Tbh the last episode was super romantic and cute and what not but Arwind letting Tada's hands was so stupid imo. Letting go only makes sense when you are in danger of pulling the other person with you or if the other person need to save themselves first but both of these things Tada was not in a situation in. It was kinda stupid but whatever. Just had to go around a full circle I guess.
