This is just my opinion but MM was a very standard xianxia for me. It was a pleasant watch but not overtly exciting because it verged on the predictable once you know how to look for the easter eggs in the scenes and the dialogues. Feud on the other hand has a LOT OF TWISTS and subverts some ideologies/tropes in xianxia so people don't know what to expect. This lead to a lot of online discussions thus the 10k. Additionally, Lulu and ZSX's acting are being praised. Their chemistry is also🔥 both in the drama and in their promos, thus leading to more buzz. Lastly, I'm gonna be frank and say the messy editing in some parts added to the "unpredictability" so it made me scratch my head, pay attention, and watch more. Like wtf is going on? 🤣🤣🤣

EDIT: 10k is REALLY difficult to break for iQiyi. There are only a little over a dozen of dramas that reached 10k to 11k(only 1 drama) in the last few years. Feud is the 2nd one to reach it this year at 10,005 so far.

The way they committed to their roles using emotive delivery, body language, and microexpressions was just superb.
