How tough it must have been for her to grieve and raise their kid at the same time. A Mi is a daily reminder of love and loss but as we can see in the ending while telling "stories" to her daughter, Li Susu isn't bitter but hopeful instead. 😭

To think that she didn't go back to her Immortal sect and just focused on raising A Mi, finding TTJ, and ruling the Demon Realm while waiting for his return. 😭

This story has a really large scope that tells of fate, karmic cycle, and redemption. The mortal and immortal arcs close those off so the endings are "sad". It is too bad that the drama wasn't alloted time for the renewal and rebirth as in the HE chapters in the novel.
