The festival scenes were chef's kiss! I loved how perfect the music was during the reenactment of the fight between the goddess and evil god. How beautiful were TTJ and YXW from then until the flying sequence! 🎆💕

The next scenes were great too --- YXW rushing in and fussing over TTJ, TTJ scolding YXW for exposing herself to the cold while warming her hands, and TTJ preempting YXW when she wanted to ask for mercy for XL. 😂
Of course, the piece de resistance was TTJ exposing that Bitchang was behind the plot to capture XL. Let's give TTJ a round of applause! 👏👏👏

It is too low. Viewing data is showing the continued popularity and love for the show though. Personally, regardless of any ratings, I continue to watch a drama when I like it. I am enjoying TTEOTM so far so I will watch on! 😊

TTJ was still processing his feelings/thoughts so he didn't allow her to see him at first. During that "not appeased" scene however, TTJ was already ready to see YXW but she did not go seek him out anymore so he went to her room in the palace. YXW came by to her room but only to get her things since she will go home to Ye Mansion.

YBC is very self-serving because she grew up being bullied in Ye's household as a concubine's daughter. Despite having the "virtues" prized in their society, she will never have the same respect/rank because of her birth status. She also realized that she is powerless most of the time so she is looking out only for herself. It doesn't excuse what she has done (and will do) but she is trying to survive.
No hate against the actress but this character needed someone with more acting chops to give it more depth and dimension. Most of the time, she appears very bland and not quite up to par as the other actors. I think the only time I was impressed with her acting was during the robbing/maid stabbing scene. She was so coldblooded in that one that it gave me chills. Hopefully, she steps up her acting game. Some villains are actually quite enjoyable to watch when they act well.
I haven't seen that drama. 😊 Frankly, firefly scenes and looking-at-stars scenes are a dime a dozen in dramas but I don't mind this one since it's LYX and Bailu on screen. 😂
