I think that acknowledging the good aspects of abusers does not mean denying or minimising the bad aspects of abusers, and that recognising the evil aspects of abusers does not mean ignoring or dismissing the good aspects of abusers. They can all coexist.

Laymen often blame evil people's circumstances to make excuses for their behavior. Understanding the factors contributing to evil is not for everyone; many people misuse it. I agree that understanding something doesn't mean justifying the actions, but sometimes laymen do.

Many women tried finding reasons for their abusive partners' actions and tried correcting them, but guess what happened to them? They ended up dead. That's why this notion is harmful. Finding reasons for bullying is pathetic because most of the time there is no reason; it starts out of nowhere, and sometimes victims wonder what they did wrong. This is truly harmful, and what they are doing is fetishistic because I've seen plenty of examples. When I mentioned "love rejection," I was referring to a comment someone made, and "romanticizing their scenes" referred to edits someone made on TikTok.
