Well, that's your interpretation and I clearly did not mean it in a negative way. Animated and cartoonish are similar words, no? It's not necessarily negative or positive to be animated, it's more to do with personal preference and my opinion which I'm free to have - even if I did mean it negatively. No, MLC and Not Me didn't. The "emphasis on sex" is why I said the charaters are depicted in an adult light.

Less animated does not mean less interesting.

Do you even know what I'm talking about? Only Friends is less silly and childish, and not corny. The characters are written and depicted in an “adult” light. It is not overly humourous and the jokes aren't bland & typical, made up of stupid sound effects & music.

This series is good for GMM, one of their less animated and more serious dramas. But it’s not as compelling to me as it maybe should be.

This makes me feel so seen and it pains me to drop this drama but I definitely will after this review & some of the others that are being honest. You’re right, slice of life doesn’t necessarily mean nothing has to happen and I agree with everything you said.
