i dropped this drama because the plot just feels like every wuxia drama ever with the whole multiple identities. i like zhao lusi's character into, but she is barely doing anything so far. the fighting is lackluster and it's kind of just me skipping through things. the romance is moving too slow for me.

ahhh that makes so much sense. i feel the same about genre of drama as well. it is actually my favorite if the dialog and character is very well written more so than actual visuals.

i love how you remember his catchphrase!! I do watch him, but I do not follow him as he talks a lot about dilraba dramas and other actresses i do not follow much. i am not a huge fan of romance as much and he speaks much about this. And you're right it is great to get some info about cdramaland.

it's not supposed to be BL but the physical differences between the two definitely makes it more BL to me :p
I think in the chinese entertainment sphere they are banning BL slowly so maybe this was a changed drama from BL to less? this is my theory right now
