Wow. Well, this comment section is a shitstorm. Okay, so my review. Why the heck they felt the need to include NSFW scenes in this show is beyond me. I felt it would have still attracted viewers if they kept it clean. I mean, there really was no need for the scenes to be added. I felt so uncomfortable and had to skip them. I was attracted to the show, just cos I saw my favorite actor, Wookie Wook, was in the cast. Didn't check the tags though so was startled when the first NSFW scene came up. Someone scrub my brain. After that, I straight up started to use my fast forward button cos I liked the show's premise and the story and plot but was not loving the unnecessary NSFW. There was that one NSFW scene, I felt, made sense if the director wanted the audience to hate the character and that was episode 4 and Lee Soo Hyuk being a freaking terror. If the aim was to make the audience hate the guy more, they succeeded splendidly. I wanted to stab him in the eye. Omg, did I want to stab him in the eye. I had skipped as usual so did not expect to see the sword in the back, which made me have to go back and watch to know what the heck happened and I would like to clean my brain, cos I love the actor and I really did not need to see all of that. Any future shows with him in the cast have been infected. (Cue dramatic wail). He did so well if he could make me hate his character so much though. I have to say, this had me on the edge of my seat. I am dying to know how this cold faced Queen is going to win in the end. It was good. I wish it was cleaner but ah well. I am now wondering what every character's aim is. Is the prime minister legit or is he hiding an evil master plan? If the shaman wasn't the one who dunnit then who did it? I am also hoping the king isn't really dead but faking so he can take out the naysayers, but that's an unrealistic hope based on how much I love Wookie Wook. What is the purpose of that Queen of the north and why is she in the story? Lots of questions and since I have more questions than answers, I am going to watch the last 4. This time I will be prepared but at least they should have provided a clean version of the show and an uncut version. Would have been much appreciated.
I love this series so much that I think anything else I watch from now on will pale in comparison. It's just so good !!! I cannot extol how much I love it.
Max and Nat did not come to play with those NC scenes. I was hiding my face behind my fingers cos I did not expect that level of intensity. Truly. I thoughf NetJames brought it but MaxNat decided to blow our brains. Wonder what TutorYim will do. Holy smokes. While I'm very impressed with the NC and just shooken down to the tip of my toes, I couldn't help but cackle at the socks. Like oh God. Socks off plssss.
Wow!!! I come here after watching the latest episodes and I was gobsmacked at the hate cos of the word "pure". That's how I know that the people commenting are very likely children or new to watching Kdramas, cos when I read "pure" in episode 9, I immediately understood they did not mean it in a "virginal" or "sexual" manner but obviously trying to say "clean slate" "No Attachment"
Literally the whole scene and dialogue went like "don't date that other guy. Please wait for me", How did people misunderstand that to mean that SY's character was asking her to not sleep around and remain a "virgin"? That took such a normal albeit slightly weird scene, because I do not like that SY asked her to wait for him like those corny old fashioned cheaters you see in movies who ask the girl to wait for them to break up with their wives but continue on with the family life while keeping the girl on the hook but I digress, and made it icky cos my head did not go where everyone below seems to be going. Maybe that says a lot.
I mean, that's what people got from that scene???! Seriously?? There was NOTHING to even make people misunderstand cos like the dialogue was so very telling and you could immediately tell what they meant despite the wonky translation. Wow. Maybe people should try and have purer minds cos I feel like if that scene was misunderstood to this extent it was definitely not the episode but the person watching it.
Then again, I have been watching Kdramas for ages, literally since city hunter, so I can pick up some Korean words at this point and could tell what he was saying rather than just paying attention to the subs. Maybe that's why it shocked me to come here and see so many comments making a mountain out of nothing. And also the translator should have been more careful and ensured what they translated had no possibility of being misconstrued.
But seriously, the comments below need to chill. And maybe try and approach things with a more open mind instead of jumping in with both feet to criticize. It would not have taken a moment to replay those words for a translator and see the actual meaning provided. No hate but I am just saying. I usually just read comments and move on but this time Wow.
Apart from my peeve with the misunderstood word, this drama do be getting on my last nerve with how everyone is behaving. Like people, please clean up your messes before looking to clean other people's messes. HJ please don't lead on the 2ml, SY please make up your mind and stick to it, tf is with the breakup and makeup the next day? No wonder NY is confused and sticking although she isn't a saint either, I mean gurrrrl, if he makes you feel lonely why are you still with him? Its not like y'all are married, not that marriage means you should stick when the guy is being such a D word like SY is, but that's no excuse to make yourself the bad guy by cheating and being a raving mad B word. Done with my rant. I shall now go hide. Lol

Also this episode was the best. The kisses, the shower scene which I have to remark had the best censoring of the goods with that remarkably well placed glass misty mist and Kuea and Diao being crackheads while making kissy faces at each other. I laughed and cackled. So good.
Me waiting for Diao to jump Yis bones. I feel like resolution of the cheat drama may be next week. Lian should clear that up nicely. I can only hope. Also we got a peek at the lovely and pretty NueaSyn couple. Can’t wait for their own drama.
Also I know people ship ZeeMax but I was just cringing hard during “that” scene. Like pls stop!!! I love their current cp’s thanks.

Okay, so that was the best thing I have watched in ages. So good from episode 1 to 10. Although, I was quite disappointed that my fave couple, the Kim An duo, had the most un-exciting kiss scenes of the 3 couples. But they did have great chemistry throughout so I forgive em. But thank you, Maru duo and Teacher Assistant duo for restoring my fate in K-Bl intimacy. Especially teacher's assistant duo. Overall, there was plot, romance, comedy(Maru's crackhead culture shall never be forgotten), and good feels. I loved this. 10/10 in my book.
