Like I said, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. From start to finish is I've always based my thoughts on the drama. And you're right, it's pointless continuing such a conversation.

Besides their relationship being romantic is just about the least unconventional thing about their story. You're under the drama's page so evidently the focus will be on the drama and not the manga. If you can't handle their relationship, fine but don't assume the same for everyone. Anyone who wants to watch the show has the right to make their own decisions without being influenced by your words of 'pedophile stalker shit'

The main point of the story is not their platonic relationship or non platonic relationship. It's two people with a lot going on who find solace in each other. I'm not sure you're understanding what misleading means. If it's someone who has not read the manga and does not plan to, their relationship being romantic in the drama makes no difference whether they learn it was platonic in the manga or not. At least it didn't for me.
And if it's someone who's already read the manga then it makes no difference the same.

Regardless of how inappropriate and unorthodox their relationship was it's for a fact that in the drama their relationship was not platonic. It being inappropriate does not correlate to it being misleading.
Besides whether platonic or not, their relationship is anything but conventional. You may also think however you want but don't spread misinformation to those who only want to watch the drama.
You yourself said it's not necessary to follow the manga so why are you so hung up on the fact that their relationship changed in the drama?

It's a show about a relationship between a teacher and his student. So why exactly are you surprised that they kiss and get into a relationship. That's like watching a show about surgeons and getting surprised when you see surgical procedures.
I've never understood getting into a show knowing full well what it's about then getting surprised when they follow their intended route.

It's not misleading if someone only wants to watch the drama version. In that event they don't know what the source material is about and their thoughts and conclusions is based solely on what they watched.
The actual plot that you're referring to is the manga. An adaptation is maintaining semblance to the source material, not copying the source material word for word, action for action.

Just because it's adapted from the manga doesn't mean everything will be the exact same.
