Absolutely! The romance feeling didn’t developed fully until the later episodes so if you don’t watch it right through you’ll miss it. At the start it was just teacher/ discipline relationship then it changes slowly with FJM shirtless to the archery scene then it kinda takes off slowly from there…

OMG it took me a good 24 hours to process my feeling about the ending. While it is not necessary a sad one it was quite tragic but admirable as well as they both make so much sacrifices. I can understand the impact it has on the audience.

I love their relationship. Both of them care so much for each other it is touching. I feel sad when they never reunited in person at the end. I suspect they cut out the scene.

Yang Mi and costume dramas are always winners. This is the best Drama for William Chan in my opinion and I think he did a good job. Based on his character he needed to be cold and shouldered everything kinda guy therefore he can’t be too mushy. Personally I think there is lovely chemistry between them. Remember a lot of scenes were cut as well so we missed out quite a few sweet moments between them.
