SAL resonates with international audiences and it was number 1 in 22 countries while airing. Modern dramas seemed to do better with international audiences. I don’t think CEnt will purposely cater to international audiences. They will still be more likely focusing on China as it is their bread and butter. If a drama becomes popular overseas it will be an added bonus.
