I have not seen any of He Yu’s dramas where he played main lead before this one, and he definitely blew me away with his performance as Zhao Zhao. The role suits him to a T as him embodies Zhao Zhao perfectly. I will definitely continue to watch his dramas in the future.
Having said that, He Yu cannot alone creates this sizzling chemistry if he doesn’t have a great acting partner, namely Esther. She plays the cute, soft and innocent girl persona skilfully. The way she responded to his touch and his kisses is spot on! For someone who has never dated and lived a sheltered life, I wouldn’t want her to be able to respond to ML as an experienced lover and devouring him back in return as it wouldn’t makes sense.
I know we all have our own opinions but to continue to discredit her and her acting ( especially after episodes 19 and 20), and saying the ML is the only one who made this drama successful is absolutely ludicrous. She is popular for a reason and it’s not because solely of her look or her time as an idol, it is also because of the dramas she brought to the audiences over the years.
A successful drama requires a successful performance from both leads, supporting cast and crew. Coming here with a hateful train for Esther, and discrediting everyone in this drama is absolutely laughable.
I will continue to enjoy, well more like obsessed with this drama lol, and will block any offensive comments to watch this gem in peace. Rant over ✌️
