I have never watched sky castle so I cant compare that for you, but I can tell you this is not anywhere close…
Penthouse was not interesting. It's actually one of the worst Kdramas I've ever watched. It was a dragging torture, a modern take on old, cheap makjangs. SKY Castle on the other hand is one of the best shows. No rich people f*cking around for nothing.
This is one of my favorite kdrama. But why Jin Yi Han stopped ating?
He's one of the worst actors. He fucked up this entire show; even Namkoong Min couldn't save it, as he usually does if he gets average actors as co-stars (like in 'Chief Kim' or 'Remember: War of the Son').
cos she sucks ass that's why people are criticising her and not in a bad way if you ask me , all the criticism…
True! Look at the awful performances of the totally overrated and overhyped Yoona, for example. Look at the stiff and boring performances of so many idols or other show-offs trying to be actors, most of them don't even look charismatic - they're just the gayish BTS style.
Have you watched even one episode? The show is good. It's actually addressing a lot deeper social issues. This…
I liked him in 'My Love from the Star' and 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' but he doesn't belong to my favorites, let's say it this way. Btw, the main actress in 'Queen of Tears' doesn't convince me as well so far. I will binge this show after the final episode.

The performance of KSH bores me to death. I watched the first episode and skipped a lot of scenes of the following three. I saw someone here on mdl comparing this show with Uncontrollably Fond? (UF was one of the worst Kdramas I have ever watched. It was so overly pathetic, all for an unsympathetic character played by an actor whose stiff and lame performance made it even worse. It was Hollywood style, which is not my cup of tea.) There are many other shows who address deeper social issues too. I liked Daily Dose of Sunshine, for example...I was into it from the first episode on.
What's with this orgasm-like hype surrounding boring shows? I remember many average shows being rated 10/10 after just one episode. Make it make sense! Ironically, the most hyped shows are often bang average, while the true gems have to be discovered by yourself. Thanks to this pattern, I can save time by skipping or dropping certain shows!
This is mdl. This is the worst place for reviews. It's filled with pubescent kids rating crappy dramas with 24/7…
You're absolutely right! And if xou voice your opinion they come for you like a cancel culture mob in the US. There are a lot of comedies that are not funny, but rated higher than the better or more original ones. Many shows which are bang average often include a poor performing, boring maim actor. Compare the underrated show 'Knight Flower', my favorite in 2024 so far, with all the overhyped, overrated average stuff that came out this year so far. Ironically, you even can predict the future ratings of upcoming shows based on certain patterns.
