The FML acting is sooooo baaaad. When she was first announced to be cast opposite SJK, I was in doubt that she could be at the same level of acting. I dont see the chemistry even before it was aired. They dont match in terms of looks as well. She was so bad in Hospital Playlist. And same goes for this drama. Stoic acting. She is the only problem in terms of cast in this drama. Too many characters in this drama as well. So confusing trying to remember the Alphas.
Its typical contract marriage story. But what i cannot stand is Ying Er has lost so much weight that she looks kinda ugly. Its so hard to watch her on screen. I like watching Chen Xiao's acting but Ying Er kinda spoilt the drama with her weak acting, her annoying way of talking and her anorexia looks. The dubbing for Chen Xiao also sucks. Not his original voice.
I understand he is angry for good reasons, but still, give her some time to explain my dude.I hope the old secretary…
I think it is more about him being hurt that she approached him because of her daughter and she did not sincerely loved him. I think you got to look at the man's side. He was lied to and betrayed once by his ex. Imagine his feeling of being lied to and betrayed again. Yeon Jung Hoon projected Jin Min's emotions perfectly.
This second season is such a disappointment. I've watched until Episode 5 and I found myself fastforwarding most of the episodes. Wuxin has become so useless and depends so much on Bai Liu Li to help him it makes him look like a conman most of the time. The stories are also boring not like Season 1. Chen Yao playing a man's role is totally awful. She's so petite which makes her so unbelievable as a man and worse still they dubbed her with a manly voice. She really looks ugly dressed up as a man. it's totally difficult to watch each time she comes on screen. The main lead actress is such a miscast as well. Boring damsel in distress role. Overall disappointing sequel. It fails to lift up to the prequel's success points. The only interesting role is actually Bai Liu Li.
Wallace seems to have hit the prime of his acting career recently with all his blockbuster dramas for 2014-2015 (Perfect Couple, Battle of Changsha, The Protector, Journey of Flower). And Close Your Eyes & He Came is a very daring challenge since he's playing a psychopath character. (But a pretty good looking one indeed).
why do I even watch Chinese historical dramas? everyone dies. every time. is it against the script writers religion…
They didn't end up together but it was a nice drama. That's why he called Perfect Couple their 4th lifetime fate because Chinese Paladin 3 they had 3 lifetime fates. And they finally ended up together in Perfect Couple. Wallace added the dialogue towards PC ending where they kissed at the brothel about the 4th lifetime fate. Wallace was good in CP3.

I think that explains why both Wallace & Tiffany won the best onscreen couple award for Perfect Couple :-) So have you watched their first collaboration in Chinese Paladin 3?
I think it is a nice drama. Something very K-drama type and it's not that dragging since it's only 21 episodes which seldom happens for C-dramas. If you are a Wallace Huo fan this is not to be missed. He still looks like a flower boy (very handsome) and puppy here compared to his current more mature image. One of his not so many modern day idol dramas since he has moved away from this genre for a long time. This drama has 2 endings. For Singapore version, Bei Bei ends up with Lizhong (well I think probably because Christopher is from Mediacorp) and the China version Bei Bei ends up with Yun Fei (since Wallace is a popular Mainland actor). I do like the China version better because I ship this pairing more. They have a good chemistry. Lizhong looks kind of old for Bei Bei.
The HK version just started airing yesterday after the China version ended last week. I found a slight difference between the 2. Firstly, there are some scenes which are cut (well unimportant ones) and also the actor that acted as Edwin Siu's father in law is different. Though 2 actors has some similarity in terms of looks. It's kinda weird. Wonder if it is because the actor in the HK version is banned from appearing in China television. But I still prefer the HK version in the sense that because most of the actors and actresses (except those China actresses like Tiffany) are from Hong Kong and their original conversation is in Cantonese. The dubbing sounds annoying for the China version. At least their expressions and conversation match for the HK version. It's kinda weird listening to Hawick Lau speaking in Cantonese after so many years and I'm so used to watching him in dubbed mandarin. And it's kinda sad that Tiffany is just a supporting role. She does have very good chemistry with Hawick.
There's never a dull moment in this drama because it keeps you guessing who the murderer is. Just feel like bashing a few faces though and Hawick's role is really intelligent. He seemed to have figured everything out. And yes, my opinion remains about the main actress. She can't act. I don't know her feelings because she's expressionless. I am already at episode 30.

The China version can be found in http://www.soku.com/search_video/q_%E9%A2%A8%E9%9B%B2%E5%A4%A9%E5%9C%B0?_rp=14340886517162Do
This drama is very difficult to find because it is restricted by TVB on copyrights when the China version was aired. As for Eng subs, you might need to wait a while for ppl sub.
