I know the struggles, I’ve only been watching dramas for 6/7 months but I started binging on my first drama because I was so captivated and then I just couldn’t stop. That’s why I like watching ongoing dramas so that I can take my time with them. However, I wait until they’re half way through before I start them so I can bing the episodes to know if I want to keep watching.
Ps. 90% of the dramas in my Plan to Watch list I am looking forward to binging. But what I’m looking forward to the most is Thirty but seventeen, She was pretty, Duel and Gap Dong once I find time to watch them.
I honestly had some hope for this series but the final episode ruined that for me. There were no answers to any of my question and I honestly don’t think it needed to be dragged out into 12 episodes if this was all we were getting. Most of the acting didn’t improve that much either. I’m very disappointed and knowing that I will have to wait next year with no clear clue that I might actually like it of get some answers, I don’t think it’s worth it to watch at the moment. This series looks more like something you’d watch just to pass time but not get invested in. I do hope the next season will be a little better and the story is thought out more.

Not sure if you finished it but this drama left me disappointed lol. Perhaps because i didn't ship the two leads…
I did end up finishing it. I feel the same way. Like you I won’t be rewatching this but the ending wasn’t as bad as I was expecting (still disappointing though). But I was on a Lee Jong Suk bing so I had to watch this anyway.
I was prepared for this. I’m still sad but I knew it was coming so it doesn’t hurt too much. The ending perfectly fit the drama though. I don’t feel like there’s anything missing and I think it’s happy in the way that they didn’t kill each other or the fact that one died while the other lived. They died knowing they loved each other and I will always believe that they’re together after death. This drama is beautiful and I will be rewatching this again and again. This has defiantly ruined me but in a good way.
I just watched ep 9 and am I the only person who is getting really frustrated with Jin Kyung??? lIke everyone…
I get it. It can get really annoying and I was confused with it but then I was just like “all well” I love the acting, the chemistry and (most) of the plot. Even though how Jin Kang got over how Moo Young SLEPT WITH and then KILLED (in an attempt to punish her duche fiancé or whatever) her supposed best friend. I’m not going to dwell on it though, I have too many dramas I’m watching at the moment and more will be added soon enough. I’m just enjoing it as much as I can before it ends and the sh*t hits the fan.
This is a great drama. I highly recommend it. It even managed to make me tear up maybe a half dozen times and if a show can do that to me it must be good. :)
I'm watching the remake on air and tbh it doesn't beat the Japanese version for me >_
I understand that completely. That’s why I never pay much attention to some reviews or ratings of dramas because I’ve found some great ones that surprisingly don’t have great ratings. I would love if the k version ended differently to the j version but I won’t hold a grudge if it goes in that direction. It will make me upset but I will still love the show because of everything else that it’s given. And sometimes I don’t mind an ending that isnt what I wanted just so it feels more real

I think I might watch the Japanese version after catching up with the remake. Once I get obsessed with a show I can’t stop watching it until I either finish it or get up to the current episode and have to wait for more to be aired. I know some shows can have a boring beginning but then pick up so I hope the original is one of those when I get to it. I’m just worried because someone told me that most of the show is boring dialogue and I need some action to keep me interested. But someone else has said that the plot twists are great and make it interesting so I guess it’s just everyone’s different opinions making me unsure of if I should continue.
Speaking from someone who watched the K-ver first then the J-ver, I'd say they're very similiar but which one…
Thank you for your suggestion. I’ve just finished the 7th episode of the remake and I’m hooked. I have decided that I will watch up to the current episode and then (maybe if I’m brave enough) I’ll watch the original. I’ve been given spoilers so I have an idea of how the ending is. I like dark dramas when I can force myself to watch them but only when I’m in the mood for them.
Question: is it better to watch the Japanese version first or are both pretty similar? I hear that the JP version was great and I want to know if the Korean version lives up to that. I watched the first ep of the original but it didn’t catch my attention (because I was more interested in the Korean version). I’ve watched the first two eps of the remake but I want to know if I made the right choice before continuing.
He got raped and this was informed before that he was going to get raped. I know it is wrong but he is getting…
Yeah, if that guy and Yim get together I’ll get really upset. He asked Runway for help afterwards, there’s no way there was any hint of consent between them. How they COULD get together after that is beyond me
Did poor Yim just get raped by Tanai’s Friend?! Please tell me there’s some other reason he was like that, naked...in bed..... I can’t think of any logical reason!!! WTF???!!!!
I haven’t watched ep 14 yet because I wanted to watch the extended ver but from everyone’s reactions (without reading the spoilers) I don’t know if I want to finish it. It’s been so good the entire season and from what I’ve seen, I’m not going to like the finale :(
I'm not ready for this to end yet!!! I still need more AePete and TinCan moments. That's why I'm not upset that JayBL is busy and can't do the subs right away. Its just the fact I'll be in hell trying not to watch the raws or visit any sites that might have spoilers. But I hope the subs can be done on Sunday so LBC can give me a good b-day present.
