I was really excited for this one but after watching the first two episodes I find the storyline a bit messy and…
As Randz already said, I also think the point of this is self-acceptance. And the fact that Han Se Gye found someone who recognizes and accepts her regardless of her face and outer appearance, she can gain more confidence and pride in who she really is inside.
This is a very fluffy feel good drama, innocent, sweet and adorable. Jennifer is my favorite character
Yes! Jennifer is my favourite too! l also love the fact that they gave Jennifer the main sountrack of "Cruel City" as she leaves the house in ep 16, lol!
Man! I just gotta say that aside from the main story with Seo Ri and Woo Jin and their awesome acting, Jennifer's scene where she breaks down in ep.15 (30-31) really brought the tears out of me :'( Ye Ji Won's acting and emotions really showed throughout this drama and touched my heart! <3
Aside from talks about the ending, I think the most important point on whether a drama is successful or not is whether it can make you feel happiness. And honestly, I truly enjoyed watching this drama. Everything from the acting, the aesthetics, the ost, to the dialogues....every detail was well made and I honestly felt attached to this drama, which I haven't felt for a long time (at least since Tunnel).
Wait, so when did they switch?! NS3 did the analyzing thing before playing the piano so NS must've come during…
Woah!! I didn't notice that! I think I was too busy looking at Seo Kang Joon's beautiful face that I didn't see these details, lol! :P I'm gonna have to rewatch these scenes again as I wait for the next episodes
Wait, so when did they switch?! NS3 did the analyzing thing before playing the piano so NS must've come during the movie, right? Wow! My brain! I can't wait for the next episodes! XD
Holy cow! Why am I crying so much?! I watched the first episodes on a whim but everything from the directing, cinematography, soundtrack, and acting is unbelievable! I'll definitely watch this till the end.
Well there is Lee El in both dramas so we kind of got a bit of a crossover ;)There's also:https://archiveofourown.org/works?utf8=✓&work_search%5Bsort_column%5D=revised_at&work_search%5Bother_tag_names%5D=Crossover&work_search%5Bquery%5D=&work_search%5Blanguage_id%5D=&work_search%5Bcomplete%5D=0&commit=Sort+and+Filter&tag_id=쓸쓸하고+찬란하神+-+도깨비+%7C+Goblin+%28TV%29
Ya, true. And woah! I love the fanfic crossovers from the link! It would be even awesome though if they made it into an actual video or show :D
This may seem random, but am I the only one who wishes there was a Goblin x A Korean Odyssey crossover? XD (or a crossover from any other ghost/fantasy kdrama, tbh)
My final thoughts after watching the final episode:
-Why?! Why did Ho Rang and Won Seuk get back together?!! I had such high hopes for them to pair off with someone else! -k, Soo Ji and Ma Song Goo are officially the coolest and cutest couple ever! love them so much! #couplegoals -I get what Ji Ho was trying to do, but I think it went a little overboard. She could have just told him with words about how she felt! -kyaaa!! That smile on Se Hee!! kk, I hereby crown Lee Min Ki a master of expressions. If I were to look back at this drama, I would remember Se Hee's amazing reactions to everything (along with the those overly emphasized philosophical quotes), lol -By the end of the episode I actually wished there was more added about the couples. I felt it was rushed at the very end, especially with that sudden U-turn in the Ho Rang/Won Seuk couple and after what Se Hee/Ji Ho went through -Also, I wanted to see Se Hee's ex, the accountant dude, and Bo Mi find love. I felt it was so sad after what they went through, especially for Se Hee's ex
Overall, I loved this drama to bits. Episodes 1-14 were incredible and groundbreaking. And its because of this that BTIMFL will probably stay in my top 3 dramas list for a while. The last 2 episodes were a bit disappointing, but if anything, I loved seeing the characters and just wanted to see more of the couples and their progression.
Gaaaah!!!!! I love this drama sooo much! First off, love the couple dynamics and especially the lead couple. Nam Se Hee seriously is so precious! He kind of reminds me of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory, but much more cuter! I'm lolling so much with every episode! This has definitely become one of my favourites :D
What I really loved about this drama was that I could actually focus on enjoying the characters rather than the poor acting seen in many other dramas. In other words, the actors were just amazing in their portrayals and the characters were so well-written. It's very rare to see amazing writing through the plot, incredible acting, and great osts, all in one drama. But "Stranger" delivers with flying colours!
One thing I loved in particular about this drama was that every character (including the bad guys) had a "human touch" to them; even if I disliked some the characters in the beginning, by the end of it I actually felt some sympathy or pity for them.
Seriously, I'm gonna miss Life on Mars so much!!!

Overall, definitely a 10/10 for me :)
