I'm really loving this series. It's slapstick, but also has its poignant moments. All the characters are loveable, too.
And like another commenter pointed out, we need that opening song!! Someone mentioned that it's a thai wedding theme, so it might be released towards the final episode.
I think it's because this couple for some reason doesn't have as many fans as the others, their fandom has a joke…
I had no idea they weren't a popular couple. I don't follow actors outside of their series, but I assumed earthmix were well received due to ATOTS. It's a shame to find out that's not the case.
hot take: if this show wasn't yinwar and was just 2 random actors ya'll would not have liked it this much. The…
Idk I never heard of yinwar before this series and I enjoyed it. Might be a hard concept to grasp, but some may like things you don't, and this show is no exception.
It's interesting, because I never quite understood the childish complaint. It feels like she does a few purposefully…
To answer your question: both.
Imagine a woman a little over half your age whining, flapping her arms around and bothering you out of nowhere, claiming that she loves you? Neung must be very lonely because I would certainly be weirded out and keep my distance if that happened to me.
About the lack of chemistry, Aneung spent most of the show making teasing comments about Neung falling for her, and Neung would respond by shifting her eyes and denying her feelings. This would happen over and over again. And I'm left wondering how they went from these almost immature interactions to what we saw after grandma's funeral.
I watched the first two episodes a long while ago, so I might have forgotten something that made Neung and Aneung's actions make sense.
I might give season 2 a chance at some point as a previous commenter stated that Aneung is more mature in it. I really did want to like this series 😭
Finally finished season 1 and I was not a fan. I'm not convinced about Nueng's affection for Anueng as for most of the series (as in every episode aside from the end of ep 6), she is annoying, childish and stalkerish. I just don't get it.
There were some questionable editing and audio choices, and the pacing was all over the place. However, the story itself was pretty good and the visuals were gorgeous.
