Your comment seems like you misunderstood the whole jest of the show. I mean they weren't exactly enemies though they showed they were. A bore fest? I am rewatching it right now and I have lost my count of rewatch at that and still I am enjoying. I don't know I mean yes we all have our own tastes but really like boring?
And the running away to the village. It's actually them running away from their reality and I really thought that was needed. They really needed time to sort out their thoughts and some alone time together. And the sim card thing, they never threw it, that's the point. They were just messing around.
