The only love triangle I see in this drama is between the vice curator, Nokdu and Dong Joo, which is soooo hilarious.
Oh please! Not really about YOUR opinion man (to each his own), it's more on the words you used. U in a bubble? Saying that the writer has no intergity just bec he or she wrote somethings that are happening in the real world is lame.. Do yourself a favor and watch just the fluffy romcoms.. Oh wait, most of them have love triangles as well. Fairytales? But what about those jealous stepmoms and wicked witches? Watch discovery channel instead please. Thanks. Bye!

So true. "no integrity" like what???? This happens in real life man. I think it is best for some people to just watch fairy tales if they get offended with things happening in real life. Blame the writer for incorporating facts into scripts that they write.
I think those negative criticism for Cha Eun Woo may be called “finding chicken bones in an egg”. I read some…
Agree. Not a fan of his. Looking for a fusion/sageuk after finishing recent wuxia and xianxia. This is actually fun to watch. His acting here, IMO, is a realistic portrayal of the prince. I honestly can't understand what they are looking for. To each his own, good thing I ignored those comments. Went ahead and watched it. Same goes to the FL. I love both their characters. Have not watched their other dramas so I have nothing to compare their performance now, all I know is that the innocent and romantic prince and the smart realistic historian was portrayed to perfection.
I agree. It awesome drama. I don’t know how I’m gonna wait a week to see what’s coming next.
Count me in. Let's (angrily) send a petition to dethrone the king if they won't let our darlings marry. I will flip a lot of tables if happy ending for them will not happen haha
did you see Sungkyunkwan Scandal? or The princess man?
Yes, done watching those two dramas. I'm looking for newer ones though, found none so far. I guess I'll just have to wait for Rookie Historian's complete eps. Thanks for the rep :)
this drama has been showing in recommendations on YT. It piqued my interest. It's been a while since I watched kdrama. Currently, I am into wuxia and xianxia. I now miss watching sageuk/fusion sageuk. I'll wait for all episodes of rookie historian first before deciding if I should watch it or not. Can you recommend some sageuk that has a happy ending? Ones that came out after queen for 7 days as this is the last drama I watched. TIA
I would like to know what's written in the book at the end - that stuff doesn't usually get translated.
Someone translated it in soompi. It was really nice. Although the drama has a happy ending, the translation was more than enough for me to end the story puuuurfectly:) An icing on top of the cake. I can picture LHY on that scene. I just wish that they showed that ending instead of the exhausted and defeated-looking QY, he still is very handsome though in that long white hair of his.
I feel the main girl and Xiao Bai should been main..some say his character is stuff but least he wasn't forcing…
At what episode are you in? If that is your only reason for liking XB instead of QY, I'm sure you'll change your mind once you see XB's hypocrisy evindent on ep 26, if you cannot see that on earlier episodes. He has this ridiculous perception of justice and has double standards. Definitely not the man for our kind hearted CC.
Episode 33: Xiao Bai is relieved after hearing that Chun Hua is okay but after thinking that she is most likely…
Too bad it's not subbed. I was going to watch it but.... :'( any more dramas like that? I'm looking for a drama wherein the ML is really smart, akin to those of put your head on my shoulders, love 020, and a love so beautiful.
Episode 33: Xiao Bai is relieved after hearing that Chun Hua is okay but after thinking that she is most likely…
If not season 2, then atleast give us the epilogue. Maybe a special episode..... just ooone more episode..... Is it too much too ask????? Not possible???? Okay I'll join the team to petition for the novel's translation, even just the scene with their kids. Ahm where do I sign?
Episode 40: Only Qiu Yue or Xiao Bai can save Chun Hua with their internal energy. However, whoever uses their…
I love your review Ani. I'm too lazy to do one lol. I too have the same worries as QY. Worst than FL and YS's situation since both QY and CC are now powerless. They have the ever loyal YY, I guess, but then there will be a lot of potential threats coming from all corners. It would be too much for YY to handle. I was kind of wishing for an assurance that QY in time will regain his power, or a fast forward instead of the scene when he gave her that name (which IMO was unnecessary). I'll surely look for you on other drama's comment section. Haha
Episode 39: Xiao Bai brings everyone to attend the banquet set up by Bu Er. Bu Er thanks them for their efforts…
Thanks again. I'm okay with the ending as long as those are sweet words of assurance and promises. Personally, I prefer them having a heart to heart talk since there are a lot to clear up between them. I already saw how sweet and romantic QY is on those prev eps and I am also confident that CC can take good care of him. She cut ties cleanly with Feng Ming Villa this time so I can assure my shipper heart that she'll stay for good. Was QY trying to puah her away initially? *sigh* It would have been much better if 1 more episode is given us, so we could atleast have a glimpse of them being a family for real, with kids and all. I'll rewatch everything once the subs are complete. See you guys around dramaland. haha
Episode 33: Xiao Bai is relieved after hearing that Chun Hua is okay but after thinking that she is most likely…
Oh noooo! That bad? *sniff* I wish someone could atleast translate the last scenes on the novel to comfort us knowing that somewhere in dramaland, they are living happily ever after. Novel translation helped me a lot with "the legends" sloppy ending, please ani411 help us waaaah. Someone on YT said that QY and CC had 2 sons and 1 adopted daughter (novel version). Can anyone validate this? Xie xie ni :)
Episode 33: Xiao Bai is relieved after hearing that Chun Hua is okay but after thinking that she is most likely…
Planning on watching go go squid as well as someone just recommended it to me. Reas the synopsis, my cup o' tea. Yeah! Let's take a break from xianxia/wuxia for a while heheh
Episode 33: Xiao Bai is relieved after hearing that Chun Hua is okay but after thinking that she is most likely…
What do you plan to watch next, I'll ride along haha. It's nice to have someone to watch with, unfortunately I am the only one who watches cdrama here. My friends all watch kdramas.
Episode 33: Xiao Bai is relieved after hearing that Chun Hua is okay but after thinking that she is most likely…
You did?Haha you can see I only watch dramas with HE. Lol I did checked your profile too but I guess you did not update your list. Nice! I'll watch eternal love 2 then. Just finished watching LBTI ep 24 with subtitle, first time I felt disappointed with QY. Both XB and him are master manipulators, are they not? Poor CH, trying to save the day but is powerless. She can only do so much, how can she fight against these two? See? XB does have CH's at the bottom of his list. I hate all the characters here in this episode (except the ever kind CH), how dare they use a frail woman for their power struggle. Even CC whom I liked for being just and open minded disappointed me this time. On the other hand though, this episode showed us most of what's in their hearts. That love bet FL and YS, QY's most evil scheming, XB's cowardice and his priorities, and even CH's hidden "love" for QY. I mean we get a glimps here and there but were intensified here. What are your thoughts on ep 24?
other dramas so I have nothing to compare their performance now, all I know is that the innocent and romantic prince and the smart realistic historian was portrayed to perfection.
