It does make sense when you see how Pat had been fighting for them to be together, out and open the entire time.. it's pat who went after pran, who shared stuff on social media, who wanted to tell his friends, who did tell his father they were dating, not being with Pran in front of other people, hiding, that is damaging and not everyone is capable of doing it.... They did it and made it work, but it takes a toll... So that tear was for their own lack of controls of having to let Pran go, because in a way Pat was letting go of the free and open life he had been imagining with pran...
Same... I thought they would break up for real, and cause I am a pessimist, so I prefer being prepared for my heart break, but doing this was so them.. it was in perfect character.. just beautiful.
