I hate time gaps too.. very few shows know how to do then good so you actually feel as if time passed and how the characters fares during that time... their sadness, desperation etc. You cant just say one year later and not expect the people to have changed a little, grown or something in that time span..

True.. I feel as if he would do something out of guilt, but it would be an interesting role reversal of Pat trying to go away out of guilt and Pran coming after him. . but if that had to happen, it would have happened in the last episode... It does not make sense for him to go to Pran, console him, comfort him, take him on a trip to feel better and then break up with him..... to leave him devatated.. and in the scene where they both are sadly similing at each other, not one of them is angry or upset at the OTHER, which means one of them did not do something... It is probably the scene where they go back home after the beach, since they have those same clothes, and the smiles are sad because they are close and yet not because the family issue is not resolved yet.. ...
