rewatch bad buddy and let it all out, 🤗🤗🤗
I loved the show itself, the characters were very detailed, motivations, situations, human behaviour was on point... the leads were spectacular, acting by everyone was amazing, not a single weak link. The powers were awesome, but I had an issue with not knowing what was up on the power front, (I have only watched Word of Honour before this in that setting, and have never watched a 50 epsidoe show.) , but Wei Wuxian kept ossicilating between being Uber powerful and Uber weak and I could not understand what was going on; characters I did not even remember were suddenly back and I had no idea who they were. I was remembering people by the clothes they were wearing, okay this guy was the white one and he is the black one. If their story was so important, I would have preferred to see it, rather than being told what happened and having no clue what and why was happening.... I was literally like, how? What? Who? Which one are you? What is happening? I had to forward so many scenes because they were not moving the plot at all, and everything seemed pointless in the end, what with no discussion about anything important happening between the characters... Like him realising, I did not kill my sister, actually who controlled the shadows to kill the sister was not even brought up.. something that just frustrated me .... He was carrying that guilt for so long and I wanted to see his guit eased a little. I wished they had not shown so many scenes of the baddy doing his baddy thing, to give it some... Suspense. It was so obvious who the baddy was, that everyone else being so stupid about his true nature made me want to scream... I loved Wei Wuxian for speaking up when he did, but the fact everyone else was silent, made me want to slap everyone.. that was the point, I got it and understood it, it still left me with a bitter taste in my mouth ... I even guessed who was setting the villain up and while it was a wonderful surprise, it was one thing I wanted more detail on, rather than so many characters we got details on and I did not care one whit about them... Like we were supposed to understand every baddies sob story and emphathazise with them, but I was too firmly on Wei Wuxian side to give a .. anything about any bad guy, and the fact everyone was feeling bad for the bad guy made me want to ..... The show left me unsettled.... We got more in-depth story of the bad guys rather than the good guys... I understand what they were trying to convey but I wanted more in depth about out good guys too .. I wanted Lang Wanji to have more dialogue. I needed to know what was going on with him, his thoughts feelings ,prepective... He had so much depth that felt untapped... I got a whole episode of the baddy spewing his woe is me story and no one wanted to just kill him for the crap he had done.. uuughh.... I am going to cut this here, before I vent more.. In short I loved it. It deserves all the love, praise, credit, everything and is most definitely worth every accolate it receives... And I am down for the leads ... And now if someone could share the book link, so that I can get more of the true relationship that was crushed in the end...

I on the other hand ended up watching untamed, 50 episodes, just to deal with my BB withdrawals..... Was a complete sobbing mess at one point and hated myself for starting it.... Loved and hated the show in equal measure....
Serious Pat... This also low key makes me want to see him as a villain/ or one of those extremely grey characters... Nanon and he would both do an excellent job as baddies.
I don't know if anyone shared this.. but I never saw it before and I keep wondering where this FMV has been all this time, cause it is stunning. Spoiler for ep 1-11.
