Brazilians own the BB twitter right now.. its so much fun, I can't understand a word and am yet enjoying myself immensely. I really wanna check out young royals now. The number one on the poll, also seems to be a bl.
I will disagree on one point and its the last one. We know homophobia exists in the universe since Pran's mother…
I have to disagree with one point though. Even if Pat and pran were more terrified of coming out as dating each other, rather than being gay, what Wai did is shitty beyond measure. Whether to come out with their relationship in public or not, was their choice and something wai had no right to take from them. Wai is arguably the most complex character and the fact that we don't know his backstory hampers is from making accurate assumptions. Just because we know the motivation and blinded rage he felt, does not take away from the act that he did. Unless the tackle this in future episodes, this is the one failing of the show. I would have no problem with moving on from his actions born of hurt, embarrassment and betrayal if he had shown even a little guilt for what he did. He should have warned Pat the guy had a gun and he should have done something more substantial than finding a video, maybe fought alongside Pat, maybe taken the bullet for him; now that would have been a redemption arc... I like Wai's character because it is one of the most nuanced and people are never black and white. I don't hate him because I see how valuable he is to Pran and actually has been the best friend for Pran since the beginning... If I was in his place, I would have been blinded by rage and hatered as well for the lies and duplicity, and even if I was tempted to hurt Pran the way Wai did, because he did intend to hurt him, turning the microphone on, letting everyone hear a private conversation, (I loved that scene, because it was the same scene as in last episode but the feelings it invoked in me were complete drastic) there is a need to feel guilt, for us as a viwer. The show does have beautiful story telling, though. Pran asking for his apology was also okay, because that is pran prerogative, to see what he did wrong and not focus on wai, to accept his relationship with pat and move forward, but something was lacking from Wai's side in order for him to be a good boi. We stand by Pran all the way though, so if he wants to give Wai a chance and wants him in his life, no matter how many red flags as a viewer he gives us, then I am on Pat's side... Because let's be real. So many horrible people in real life do horrible things, but people still forgive them and live with them. Pran grew up in a very toxic environment (both did, but pat fights outwardly, pran takes the fight inward). He was taken away from everything he knew and thrust in a new world and he found Wai. A part of me suspects he even had a crush on Wai for a bit. Wai has been problematic since the beginning, the red flags. Does not make him a Villian or a bad guy, just a human with flaws, as do all the characters have. Since the beginning he has been the one causing problems and pran has been cleaning up for him but he has been there for pran the entire time emotionally, especially in the begining when he got a note and Wai said to go after the person, whether they were a guy or girl. He is the one pran trusted with his guitar. Wai was also the person who obviously comes from a poor background, because he goes to university and works in a pub to afford it. He was welcomed by pran and his mom, spent nights in pran room as well. He was also horribly bullied by pat and his friends, no matter the reason, that leaves scar. He is one of the most complex characters in the show. I don't even like him and yet I can't hate him. So while I understand him as a character, I think as a viewer I need some introspection from him, which we won't get, I know. Cause th friends arc is wrapped up and we are moving to the parents arc, so I'm trying to keep myself level headed. Still an amazing show, the fact that we can have this discussion on a characters personality has never happened to me in a bl show.

Sigh... I guess this is how I will be spending my day rather than working cause I'm suffering withdrawal.
I might just be losing my mind.
For PAT/ OHM enthusiasts.
